Theatrical is my preference, though it’s nice to have the BD with both versions. I have a really neat fanedit called The Strange and Interesting Cut. It utilizes elements from the various discovered workprints that make Seymour a less innocent character and uses the Director’s Cut ending. Maybe I’ll watch that version instead.

The first movie I remember seeing in the theater was probably Disney’s The Little Mermaid (1989).
The first movie I remember seeing all the way through was probably one of the following three: Dumbo (1941), Robin Hood (1973), or Alice in Wonderland (1951).
You might reasonably guess that I grew up on Disney.
Twilight (2008). I don’t hate it, but I sure don’t love it. But it kept me awake enough to complete my homework without distracting me too much.
Little Shop of Horrors (1986). Not a guarantee, but I love this movie, and I think it’s befitting of the season.
Eclipse (2010). I started watching, made it a few minutes in, and fell asleep. I didn’t watch the movie or do my homework. 😦
Jupiter Ascending (2015). Really, it’s been a while since I’ve seen it, but there is probably not a movie in recent memory that has felt like as big a waste of time as this one. With most movies, I find something redeeming about them so that I derive some enjoyment. Not with this bomb.
TM2YC’s Ghostbusters III (edit of Ghostbusters (2016)). Considering the source material, I was surprised at how well I enjoyed this movie! Even though it didn’t fit into the continuity at all, I still enjoyed it quite a bit.
I predict that yhwx won’t post in this thread until the new tyrannical rules are lifted.
By the time you get there, I’ll expect it to be holographic.

Before the dark times…before the prequels…I remember that Palpatine and the Empire were supposed to be so racist that they seldom utilized elevated alien species to high ranks. This accounted for the lack of aliens in any Imperial vessel in the OT and made characters like Grand Admiral Thrawn seem even cooler and more impressive. When the PT negated that with the characters shown here, I was tremendously disappointed. It took away from the evil of the Empire.
I just interpreted it as an effort to show more diversity in the Star Wars galaxy, which I thought was a worthwhile pursuit. Chirrut and Baze were the first non-Nemoidian Asian accents, both in R1.
Surferdude Fed is to my knowledge the first non-Asian Nemodian.
