I think that would be fun.  I'm not promising the game of the century or anything.  Many of you are probably far better than I am.  But I do ask that we get no kibitzing.  I don't mind teasing and off topic comments, but please don't comment on the nature of our moves or offer suggestions, everyone.  After we're done would probably be a fine time for any chess lovers to offer their constructive/destructive criticism.

I'll have to teach you how to play shogi now.  I described it in my ever-popular board game thread that I'm too lazy to find and link to at the moment.  It's the Japanese chess equivalent, and it's really fun.

Don't sell yourself short.  While I would be most interested in preserving the original slides, particularly if they were taken from an alternate take, I think this is a worthwhile project you have completed.  Many projects here recreate an archaic format of something Star Wars related in a new manner.  For instance, there are projects that take The Story of Star Wars trilogy LPs and put them with video.  It appears quite successful.  I am definitely interested in what you have done. :)

I am trying to preserve the series, and I have all the episodes except part 3 of the pilot (The Adventure Begins).  It’s a re-edit of the movie that kicked off the series with some minor differences, most notably the redubbing of Buzz by the actor who would voice him for the whole series.  I’d like to put this on DVD since it’s never had a DVD release.  Did anyone ever record the Pilot part 3?  Thanks.

I am totally willing to bet that we have once again seen the return of the troll that led to the start of this thread.  Honestly, if he behaves himself, I'd be willing to let him stick around.  But I know he has repeatedly infringed on the rules, so a lifelong ban may be the only route for him.  But I am nearly positive that he's making a comeback, only trying to actually get along instead of starting arguments.

I didn't realized there was additional footage on the videogames.  Well, maybe I better clarify: is there additional footage with the actual actors, or is it CGI with the actors' voices?  I just watched a couple of YouTube videos, and I see that it transitions between film footage and computer footage.  Are the Dooku lines you refer to part of a deleted clip, or are they simply additional lines with a computer generated Dooku?

Oh, I know that you believe what you do.  I just think you are more open and persistent in sharing those beliefs with Warbler because he holds his views very strongly with little grey area.

I do like your idea, and I hope someone ultimately tries to do exactly what you say.  I know that emanswfan, a member here and at FE.org, has up-rezzed some of the deleted scenes, so you might have some luck if you get his attention.  He's pretty busy with his own projects too, though.

I think you missed the part where I said I'm just messing with you.  I don't even necessarily think you are that way, just that your posts could come off that way.  It was a joke.  I really want you to feel welcome here, but I do tease a lot, especially if I think someone is expressing things awkwardly.

You know, every online forum has its own culture.  There is almost always a little difficulty integrating in some forums.  When I first started posting here, I was offended by a few, including Frink.  Now I understand the culture better and it's all good.  There's a lot of teasing here, but just hang in there and you'll be fine.  BTW, notice that I included a winky face in the first post.  Though I don't always include one, when I do, it's a sure sign that my comment is intended to be harmless...hopefully humorous, but harmless.
