While I personally feel that Scientology has a lot going against it, I have a hard time with exposes.  They often portray things in quite an unfair and inaccurate fashion.  Speaking as a Mormon with several nasty books written about my religion (and I've read several), I find it hard to trust purely antagonistic treatments on even the stranger religions.

Hey that's pretty fun, and some of your games sound like interesting chess variants.  I like small variants usually better than large variants, as they rely on more subtle gameplay rather than wildly powerful pieces.  Just looking at Borgo Pass, you've really got a knack for some interesting game invention.  You should submit some of those to chessvariants.org so others could try them out.  Thanks again for sharing.  Makes me laugh that your students keep creaming you :)

Well, I've been playing in a hurry.  I know a few moves back I wanted to play something different, but I didn't want to take it back after posting it.  Do what you need to do.

So it's sometimes a refreshing thing to apologize publicly for something.  I personally don't like to hold grudges, nor do I like them held against me.  Hopefully this thread could get some use when two users here are not getting along.

I personally would like to apologize to Bingowings for how harsh I was with him recently.  He was frequently misrepresenting my opinions and views, but I believe it was unintentional.  However, I really snapped at him, and I wanted to apologize.  We will likely never see eye to eye on most political subjects, but I've always enjoyed reading his posts, even when they confuse me. ;)  He clearly is a good and caring person, and I want him to know I value his friendship, though I likely will never meet him in person.  I hope you know the sincerity of my apology and accept it (preferably without Force strangulation).  I ask nothing else in return.

Any and all others who may wish to clear the air at any point in the future for any reason, feel free to use this thread.  I hope it serves its purpose for genuine apologies rather than be used for further fighting or silly jokes.

Actually I have one recommended change to your setup as well, and it is only slight.  Let me know what you think.  I know we've already started, and it may alter your opening move, but I recommend moving the FS back one square.  The reason for this is because it's pretty easy to free up its path to the opponent's camp.  Since the piece can step one backwards, thus altering the color of squares it's limited to in forward movement, it wouldn't drastically hurt its mobility.  But it would add at least one move to give it such long range.  And since we're sticking for now with the more powerful FS, I think it's best to try and limit it a bit more in the earlier stages of the game.  I will wait for your response before I move.
