I gave this a look last night and well… I think (at least for my own tastes) the movie is now my new favorite Star Wars! I haven’t seen the Legendary cut yet but honestly I think what you removed and kept in works great. I’ve seen the movie many times in the theater and on blu-ray and it’s impressive that I didn’t really miss any of the stuff that was cut. The movie flows like it needs to with no distractions or head-scratching humor. Very well done! 😄

Just a suggestion, I’d say go dual-layer DVD, given the movie length and extra(s). But that’s just me. Can’t wait for ROTP!

The Wampa looks too good, might give kids nightmares. Having said that, hope all goes well! 😃

One of the greatest films of all time gets the best overhaul of all time. Count me in! So great to hear about the release!
As a long time watcher of this project and all the progress and blood and sweat that clearly went into it, I’m going to say it… this should be released in cinemas. Cheers, Adywan!

Sorry, just noticed the tiny orange dab on the butt of Qui Gon’s hilt in one shot that I’d never seen before, once the shield doors close. It’s there in the original too now that I look at it, just thought it was added in for your version. My apologies.

That musical transition is nice!

Question though: does it look like Qui Gon’s Saber-hilt has been hit at the bottom at 00:17? Guess I never noticed that before now. Apologies if it’s been addressed before.

Whatched it 3 times now on a projector… feels like it should be seen in the cinema. Great attention to detail… the ships even disappear in the right spots, haha!

actually I should mention that I watched TRM with 2 other people, one of which had never seen The Phantom Menace or Clones... He laughed his ass off (so did my other friend) :) I'm inviting them over to watch the next one soon

I watched both TRM and AOTR over the past couple of days and wow... they were hilarious! Very much looking forward to seeing what you do with the other movies. The dialogue replacements had me dying, especially the snippets from "The Room" and using Job for C3P0. Great work!

I actually enjoyed this edit, warts and all. Clones was always my least favorite of the PT but this version... I actually liked it. The pacing was good, the visual editing was not too shabby. I was able to see past the workprint aspect. I didn't even mind the dialogue editing, Anakin's deep voice was good. Jar Jar's voice seemed a bit odd but it didn't bug me that much. Overall a good experience. So, from what I understand, there are no plans to revisit this one?

Ezra's lightsaber seems to have some kind of extra mechanism to it besides potentially being a stapler or hot glue gun
