And here's adding some reall irony to this argument.  Since I joined here recently I've been trying to decide what restorations to get, and after reading through tons of threads and looking at all the edits available, I've decided to get Puggo's, Ady's, and your V3's :p   Each has its own different, and equally awesome approach, so why resign myself to just one?  Can't wait till either of you are finished!

Hey nothing wrong with a Kawasaki, I am not a hard nosed Harley Davidson ONLY type of guy, my first bike to learn on was a Kawasaki Vulcan 750, I needed a small cruiser type bike to learn on, and man do I wish I would have kept that little thing, it was a nice shaft driven bike, and great on gas, my 2007 Harley Davidson Fat Boy uses almost the same amount of gas as my big 4x4 RAM LOL, but I still can't wait to get it back next week, all ready to go for the Spring.

OH, and I am glad you are interested in the V3 DVD's, and I to will be grabbing Puggo's new DVD, hell yea, the sample looked damn cool, and I am sure I will grab Ady's to just to have it, but truth be told, it is hard for me these days to watch ANY version of the SW movies because I have seen them, and heard them, waaaaay to much lately with all these projects I have been doing, so once this latest is finished, I probably will not watch another SW movie until the official Blu-ray Saga Set comes out, OH crap, I will have to watch my Blu version for testing, darn I forgot about that.

Yes and all those are fair points, but changes are changes, I NEVER specifically said you were a "hypocrite" now did I? no I did not, and GL can do with his movies whatever the hell he wants, he owns them, not us, and as far as the OT goes, we are not even talking about that, everyone already knows, and have known, that these are not going to happen(hence all the damn projects I am doing) fact is fact, and yes, some people in his thread like the SE's as well as his(Ady's vision) but some of those people in that thread bitch up a storm and call for GL's head because of the changes he made(remember they are his films) but then turn around and praise Ady as the SW GOD because of ALL the changes he is making, now THIS is what I find rather amusing, and at least some in the thread understood where I was coming from.

I am not knocking Ady or his vision of things, that is his baby, it is the people that I mentioned that want GL's head, but then praise someone else for doing radical changes.

*edit- I didn't really start getting riled up until someone accused me of calling everyone in the thread a hypocrite, which I did not.

If you have watched the movies enough you will know what is right, and if not check out your VHS, if you are using VDub just start your file and set your start point, then go to the end of that file, which would be LD side1 right? and set your end point, then choose in VDub how you want to save that file with what compression, I use Lagarith, then save that portion, that would be side 1, do the same for all other sides and then join them up, now you have a completed movie for further processing.

Just make sure you have a lot of HD space.

It is not an exe file, it is a command line program, open up notepad and make a script up, that is how you will use avisynth, once you get the hang of the basics it really does open the door to some really cool stuff.

I also love Puggo's restorations (which I just watched the other day) yours and ABC's Imperial Edition of ESB, and DarthEditous' Ep IV hybrid (which was the the first SW fanedit I ever watched). My problem was with the comparison you made between those who didn't like the Special Edition changes and those who do like faneditors' changes. It's a bad comparison and I called you out on it. The Asteroid sequence in Empire looked friggin Great on my set up, I was actually surprised by this, I thought for sure it would not look to hot, I am glad I was wrong, but this is my opinion only.

With all the arguing going on with a certain member, I almost forgot I have a very small update, the rendering of Jedi has started, by Monday ALL video will be rendered and encoded along with the audio, so hopefully once I figure out these Blu Menu's(which are friggin hard as hell) I should have all 3 done soon, maybe I will figure out a way to upload Star Wars V3 & Blu-ray first, then do both ESB versions and so on,not really sure yet.

So how is it going dude? let's talk Community, and Community projects, and sharing of said projects, I have not traded in a while now, so I was really hoping to maybe trade for some of your projects, or do you have them somewhere already for download somewhere, if so could I have a link?

Damn right, I have been a member of this community for a very long time, I have made a lot of friends, and I do a lot of trading, some really, really love Fan Edits, so wouldn't it make sense to have them for trade? or to upload? because believe it or not, I used to upload a shitload for people at Myspleen(Star Wars and NON Star Wars projects, others as well as my own) my record stands, it is all there, what is yours? do you even have one? like I said, we should carry on over in the off topic, so hopefully I will see you there and we can discuss who and what we are there.
