You know that is a damn good question, I just want it to look like something you would see sealed on the store shelf for sale, with like the grid on the lower back cover with all specs, I will see if I can find something for an example, are you interested?

Here is an updated pic with the cover, ABC modified the DVD disc labels for this set also, but I still need a retail looking set, can someone help me out?

Thanks for the heads up DrM, I bet that is why jdobbs uses an old version of ffdshow for BD-Rebuilder, I have not run into any of the errors you had, probably because I have an old version installed for BD-RB.

Thanks for that info Jetrell, but I will stick with my Singapore Verbatims, if you find DL blanks for a lot cheaper, 9 times out of 10 there is a reason for that, you get what you pay for, we are already seeing blank Blu-ray discs failing after just 6 short months, brands like Ritek, Memorex, etc. they write fine, but then fail within a year, sorry, I do not want to take that chance, I have Verb Dl's that are 3 and 4 years old and still read and play great, so thanks for the info, it might help others, but for me, you can keep'em.

It was all through email Frink, I posted his Blu-ray cover of Star Wars in my thread, but I want an alternate "retail" looking set as well, but it is starting to look like this won't happen, hell am I going to have to pay someone to work up a set?

I also was wanting to see if anyone can replace the DVD logo at the bottom of the disc art for the V3 set to a Blu-ray logo also, oh well.

Yes it is, and the "purist" versions are the only ones that will be on this set, some may notice a difference between the DTS-HD MA 5.1 compared to the Dolby Digital 5.1, some may not, but my oldest Son said it was pretty cool seeing the DTS-HD on his receiver LOL, either way it is on there and not going anywhere, it is what it is.

@ any cover artists that view this thread, would you be interested in making up a Blu-ray "retail" looking cover set for this set?

I will have to look at my French Total Recall SteelBook Blu-ray, it might be on there.

OK, I actually have a little bit of an update for those of you who are following the Blu-ray part of the project, we now have Star Wars BD25 FINAL! I have tested it on a standalone Sony BD player, and the original release Fat PS3, and the new Slim PS3, ALL works fine, we are gathering materials for Empire now, but here is the info for the Star Wars BD.

I want to post this here before I start asking around on other Forums, I would rather deal with the people here since I have been here the longest LOL, but my Friend ABC has come back to help me out again, he is going to modify his GREAT covers for the V3 DVD set to go with my Blu-ray set, but I would also like a "retail" looking set as well as an option, is anyone here able to help me out with this? if so just post here or PM me and I will give you the specs.

I wish my partner in crime from my earlier preservations and HD2DVD releases would come back around, Cassidy was always there LOL.

I think some people are just making it harder than it really is, you can't get any easier than that.

What is wrong with ripping file from DVD in IFO mode with DVD Decrypter and then running it through DGIndex using force Film? that's what I did, and all audio is in sync.

I think you are right hairy, I am trying it out now just for shits and giggles, I replaced the double NNEDI2 lines with DrM's line, and LOL it is running 12 times SLOWER! and I have a fast QUAD core PC with 8 GB's RAM running a 64 bit system, I will see the results in a little while, but for now, way to slow for me.

I am pretty sure I am going to stick with what I already have, colors look great, and it just looks a lot better than what I am seeing at the moment with this tweak.

I am really curious, why do you guys always request all 3 sets? ABC fixed issues with each of the previous sets, hence the new version, so why the need for all 3? curious.

I did see it very slightly on the clouds in the Fox Intro, and did not see anything on the wall behind Han when talking to Greedo, but I went through SW again and still do not see this at all, like I said, hopefully the other guys will chime in as well, I was going to look at the originals but no need to look at them if I do not see it on mine.

*edit - I just went through Jedi and did not see any of what you mention there either, so to me at least, this is the best 97 SE preservation, you must have bionic eyes, because I see none of it at all on all 3.

Couldn't you upmix the 2.0 to 5.1? then you could keep the main DD 5.1 audio, this is how I do my edits, and I used Womble as well, but I did NOT upmix the 2.0 in Womble, it does not sound right done in womble, has an echo effect LOL.

Can you please provide samples? I really need to see this myself, after reading this, I just skimmed through Star Wars and Empire(have not looked at Jedi yet) and have seen none of this at all, the only scene in which I remember this crystal clear is the Canyon scene with R2, and it was on ALL of the DV broadcast versions, so there was not a thing I could do about it, and it sucked, but fortunately that scene is not to long LOL, but I can assure you, if this was as bad as you portray it, having "weird motion jerkiness" during the whole movie, for ALL 3, believe me, you guys would not have ever seen these, so if you can please post some samples of this, and I hope the others that got these will chyme in as well, because I am not seeing it at all, but on the 1 scene I already mentioned.

That looks pretty cool zombie, but while watching your clip it seems I have seen this before, I am pretty sure ADM did this to but it was one of the files I was not supposed to upload, I will have to get it out and look at it again.

Still no idea at all, that is why I took it out of the thread description, the latest update I have has been the same for 3+ weeks, maybe longer, but ALL video and audio for all 3 movies has been rendered and encoded, in other words, ALL DONE, I am still waiting on the BD menu's, and I have NO idea how much longer those are going to take, I have not heard from him in a while now and have no clue.

I have been using google and trying to find some kind of tutorial on making at least some kind of simple BD menu and trying it out myself, but have been unsuccessful in finding any tutorials as of yet, if anyone knows of any please post, if I had more blank BD's I was about to just make a movie only BD just so I can at least see and hear what all this is going to look and sound like now, so there you have it, unless something changes, I will have no more updates, just sitting on everything.

Also, sure would like to know why there is an issue with people asking in my thread for an invite for THIS project? it is NO different than everyone asking for download link PM in other threads, but I see none of these damn warnings or please see here edits there, seems pretty silly to me, especially since it does not bother me at all that they are asking, so why does it you? it is still project related.
