it plays in windows media player and VirtualDub, do you have either of those? it also uses the Lagarith lossless codec, maybe you need that to.

I have A&EHD, and EOD has been broadcast several times. I remember it was on sometime last year, and it was full HD. It is the shorter version then the DVD, as it is only 2 hours with commercials as I cant remember what the OOT scenes looked like. If it is on again, I will keep an eye on those scenes.
The History Channel usually shows the documentary on the Saga (not sure the name of that) where it gets real philosophical about the 6 movies, and that is in HD too.
I am really surprised this was not capped and available on usenet then, that is weird.

I have never heard of this either, because if it was, I am sure someone would have capped it, I would like to see proof of this claim for sure.

also I am using the Tantiv IV hallways from the 04, but using the DV for the Leia, 3PO, R2 shot, still not sure about the Vader interrogating scene, Stormtroopers getting Leia, and 3PO and R2 escaping, they do not look much different than the DV, so I may leave that 04 as well because much clearer and no smear.
I am using 005's comparison shot page for the differences, if it wasn't for that I don't think I would have caught the cloud change LOL.

I know I am NOT him, but I can tell you my Friends and I went and saw Empire on release weekend and we are huge Fans, just friggin LOVED the movies, we were kids LOL, collected trading cards, comics, toys, etc., and I believe no one knew of this then, so to all of us, this is what it was, but I suppose now knowing it makes the movies wrong, which I find absurd, so what if GL changed his mind, I am pretty sure other Directors have done this to, the public at that time was shocked to find out Vader was Luke's Father, and it was GREAT! I can still remember the look on ALL our faces sitting there and hearing this, good times.
I will say though, if he or anyone knew this before seeing Empire, I SURE would love to see this proof.

The 97s are color timed to match George's Tech IB print. Then the telecines deviate from that. I still prefer this warmer palette to anything 04.
I just do not like the pink tint, but I did not use all the 04, there are scenes on board Tantiv IV that look way better from the DV.
top is 04, bottom is DV, straight from DVD, as is, all I want to do is make this as good as it can be, it is not going to be perfect by any means, but obviously the more 04 I can use the less smearing.
Just out of curiosity, which color is more preferred here? top is 04, bottom is what all the DV Broadcasts look like, I think the 04 looks better for all exterior shots of Tantiv IV and the Star Destroyer(and the Planets for that matter, more color) and interior myself, but some of the 04 color looks like shit compared to the DV Broadcasts, like inside the Cantina, the Sand Crawler, the DV's look better, so let me know.
Well whether or not I can get rid of the damn smearing or not, there will DEFINITELY be new DVD versions of these, I found some spots I wanted to clean up, and other stuff, the smearing I mainly want to get rid of is where it is worst, like in the Canyon, Ben's face, in the Cantina.
1 of my problems at the moment though, is trying to locate my back up DVD's of the darn DV Broadcasts & the 5.1 audio files, I was so glad I finally got my crappy\rotting DVDr's to rip I stored these in a safe place and forgot where the safe place is LOL, because I want to start this from scratch.

Are there any Assassin's Creed players here? if so, what do you think about Assassin's Creed Revelations coming out this November? finally going to put closure to Altair and Ezio, and explain the link between them 2 and Desmond, I know I can't frackin wait, Ubisoft wants to put closure to this, to get us ready for Assassin's Creed III.
