This is unfortunately the best I can do at the moment. This particular laserdisc isn't something impossible to get a hold of either if you had a higher-end player, it's up on e-bay every day.

I don't think any laserdisc transfer will, that's why I saved my old CRT-tube when upgrading, it's nice to have when I feel the urge to watch standard-def or play retro games. But it do take up some valuable space. ;)

DAMN, you got that right, it sux, with my new set up I cannot revisit any of my old games, they look to damn bad to even play, all I can do now is hope for Sony to keep doing these HD enhanced PS3 versions now, like the Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill, and God of War Origins games coming soon.

Why are some of you guys mad about the original trilogy being editted? I mean, it's not like they were so awesome or anything... Nothing's wrong with liking the PT better (though many would seriously disagree), but preferring CGI action over emotion and calling the OT "not so awesome" is just stupid.

NO what is stupid is YOU saying they are stupid, some just do not like the OT that much, why is that SO hard to understand, hell I have Friends that like the PT better, and I certainly do NOT call them stupid for doing so, and they don't me for liking the UOT. UNBELIEVABLE the mind set of some people, it is truly amazing.

Yeah 720P sux, that means my Set is garbage too.

Good luck on that one LOL, I have done some upscales myself to 720p on the 06 DVD's and 97 DV broadcasts, and I just can't see getting anything higher than 720p, so I just CAN'T wait to see what your LD cap looks like at 1080p, this should be very interesting to say the least.

I won't respond no more, but I surely will be watching this thread to see some samples of this.
