Seconded. 25GB is a lot to download without having an idea of what a release looks like.

Please just go back to your own "popular" release, I have read your very annoying posts in both Ady's and harmy's threads, you just love to argue and to feed your own very large ego and I really do not want to read your crap here, I am pretty sure NO ONE does, plus our release is 720p so please just move along.

Thank you

Guys I am busting my ass to make this happen, We had a last minute update from Mr hairy_hen and we think it is definitely worth it, so I had to scrap the BD and I am right now doing a new re authoring then I will prepare it for Usenet, passwords will be posted May 4th!

Awesome DJ! I'm not in any rush at all, but any idea on when the discs would be mailed out to those who donated?  I'm guessing it might be awhile, as I thought you were only going to send completed sets out, but perhaps I am miss-remembering. Thanks again for all your hard work. Looking forward to see fruits of Team Blu's labor.

I was going to wait for Sets but it is going to take far to long and I think I will send them out as we finish, and yes it will take me a little more time, like I said above I got a nice new file from hairy_hen so I had to re do the BD, but I am all caught up now and I should have all ready to go for Sunday, I will start burning the BD's for you guys this weekend and through the coming up week.

You guys can share what you want, we don't care, go for it, all we ask is to get credit for what we did, believe it or not there are some that still do not do this.

The NOTLD release on Spleen was properly credited was it not?

I mean....cmon...there was obviously some kind of personal drama that preceded the take down on spleen. Had to have been. The official explanation doesn't really make any sense when you really read it.

These comments really make us want to do what we do lol, we just love reading them, we are still sharing our work, would you like us to continue? We want to continue, but do you guys want us to is the question.

Take Care

Was there a V1 Blu-ray at one point?

There was, but people had just begun testing it when I jumped in on the project and started from scratch with a new script. I guess DJ chose to call this V2 so it wouldn't confuse those who had already gotten test discs from him.

Exactly, but this really is not a V2, this is it! this just blows away the previous BD so in my mind that first BD does not even exist lol.

I've used QuickPar in Win7 x64 for years. Wonder where your problem lies.

It just would not create PARs for me at all, you must have a different version or know what the settings should be for Win 7 Pro 64, if I could figure it out I would surely try it again.

But at least I figured out the speed issues, projects upload very fast now, a lot faster then torrenting, a now I do not have to worry about hit and runners, and a lot where complaining about the fileshare site we used, so this is pretty much our only alternative.

So are there any special settings I need to know with Jbinup?

Not that I recall. I basically just input the necessary information like server ip, user name, password, etc. When I set up the server settings i checked the encrypted(ssl) check box and used the ssl port given by my provider to connect with. I also told it to use 20 connections to the server.  Other than that, I didn't change much.

Thanks again for all this help and info, since this has been written have you found out anything else that might be helpful by any chance? I am going to try uploading our latest project this afternoon using jbinup and really hope I get much faster speeds then with the previously very old program I was using lol.

I'm trying to send you a PM, but it says I have to be on your friends list.

JEDIT: I sent the PM to You_Too and told him to forward it to you.

Thanks, I got it, I am a little worried about the not being able to IVTC it properly though, I wonder what method he tried? it definitely needs to be 23.976 fps, and the file size is pretty small lol, I am also looking into another source as well, but really all that is needed is the scenes, the BD can be the source, but I am getting ahead of myself now lol.

Thanks again

I keep hearing The Warriors theatrical is out there, but nobody can tell me for sure, or if it's got the original mono.

There's a nice HD (720p and 1080p) capture available on AMPS. I'm not sure if it has the original monomix, but it's definitely a capture of the theatrical cut.

Shoot me a PM if you want it, but you're not interested in joining.

We would like to get a hold of this "nice HD (1080p capture".

I had pretty terrible problems using camelsystem powerpost.  It sounds great because it supported more upload connections so I thought it would upload faster, which it did.  Problem is it screws up all of the crc numbers so that none of your par's will work with the rar's that you upload. Perhaps it was user error but I've never had the problem since I stopped using camelsystem powerpost.

Yenc PowerPost has like 4 or 8 upload connections if I remember right and Camelsystem PowerPost has something like 12 or 16?  Jbinup has unlimited connections so you can set it to 30 or 60 or however many your provider will allow you to use.

Jbinup does everything that all of the old outdated powerpost programs do and more. The fact that it has unlimited upload connections and SSL built-in makes it the single best choice that I've found so far. It is more modern and much more stable in my experience.  I highly recommend ditching everything else and going with Jbinup.

As far as finding your stuff I'd probably just hit up a Newsgroup search engine and search for Team Blu in the NFO file or the actual title and see what pops up.

Multipar has several sizing schemes.  It should be possible to make the par's the same size as the rar's. I've always used variable size which makes a few smaller par's that double in size for each step and then level out at the rar size.  So the first few par's would for example be like 10MB, 20MB,40MB,80MB.  Once it reaches the size of the rar's it levels out at this size and stays there which in our case would be 100 Megabytes.

Can you show me what to set this to? I am always going to make my rars 100 MB so I would like it if the PAR2 files stayed at 100 MB.

Thanks
