My 1997' SE laserdisc transfer set - including extras.... (Released)
Time
yes the pan and scan set is a little washed out but that is the way the source is(unfortunately,1 LD per movie except ROTJ has 2)and i am not going to run a bunch of filters & avisynth scripts and such(dont have the patience)but i have also done a capture of MY "FACES"set and i was very disappointed, the "Definitve Collection"looks alot better, but i heard the sound from the "FACES"is better?and also 1 note on the "Def. Collection"set and "Pan & Scan" and Blade Runner "Criterion" for that matter, the chapters are random, the only set of mine that will have fancy chapters and such will be the joint effort between Boba Feta and myself, and i have those ready to go out(ANH,ESB) as soon as boba gets ROTJ back to me(which he has already finished)and a NEW bonus DVD,he wants to re-do that one now as well, which should be done today or tomorrow, and with this set, the boba created cover and disc art will be in the dvd-rom folder when you download it,from either a.b starwars(thanks to our friend segaflip)or at myspleen (thanks to our friend Metallaxis)
sorry for the rant and i HOPE you guys like them

Help Wanted: 'Braindead' on Pioneer #PILF-1822 Japanese LaserDisc, NTSC, CLV, 104 minutes
Time

hey segaflip over at ****** they have it in NTSC format here is the specs:
An innocent young man is forced is forced to care for his domineering mother after she’s bitten by the cursed Sumatran rat monkey. When the infectious bite turns her into a crazed zombie, she soon infects enough people to make it very difficult for her son to cover up all that is going terribly wrong. Filled with state-of-the-art gore effects that feature dismemberments, mutilations, and household appliance mayhem. See this movie the way Peter Jackson intended. This is the complete uncut and widescreen version from New Zealand. The cut U.S. version was released as Dead-Alive. Uncut. Letterboxed.
hope this helps, hell i wouldnt mind getting this myself

DVD players?
Time
hi everyone just wondering what DVD player is the best for PAL and NTSC besides that cheap cyberhome system,i would preferably like to get a nice one that has optical out and HDMI and possibly up-convert too,i have a 62' hidef DLP widescreen TV with a high end Yamaha reciever, and i would like to find a nice dvd player no cheapies.
since there are SO many nice PAL dvd releases lately i would like to watch on my system NOT my pc.
makes and models would be nice, then i can figure out where to buy.
thanks in advance

My 1997' SE laserdisc transfer set - including extras.... (Released)
Time
well guys i got bored,so while waiting on boba to get done with the corrected resolution ROTJ SE,and send back to me i started capturing and encoding the Star Wars Definitive Collection Set,now i know there are alot of versions out there but if you like the SE set you will like this one too, star wars is done just have to finish up ESB and ROTJ,i WILL NOT do any of the extras(or put on any fancy menus, and still cant put chapters in the correct spot, but who the hell uses the chapters any way)because Rowman already did a terrific job,so i wont even waste any time on these, excellent work Rowman!!!
when this set is done i will send a set to russs15,segaflip,boba feta,Metallaxis and darth simon for review if they like, i will let them post for all.
metallaxis agreed to post the SE set on myspleen, and if these are good i will see if he will post these there as well, and segaflip has the a.b starwars covered.
and russs15 has added my sets to his website(pan and scan also) as well so go check out his site.
