My 1997' SE laserdisc transfer set - including extras.... (Released)
Time
hi jedimonkey i will try to answer some of these untill boba see's the post.
"boba_fett, what program did you use to make those covers? specifically the front/back box view?"
i am pretty sure he used Photoshop
"ALSO, are their any screenshots of this release?"
the only screenshots that i know of are the ones posted at russs15's website,he has ALL my captures, here is the link:
http://www.galactictradefederation.com/dvd/
"LAST, does the post on alt.binaries.starwars have the new menus, or the simple menu you made dark_jedi?"
if you are talking about the "Definitive Collection" set that was just posted by segaflip, this is very basic menu, random chapter points,no extras.
the only set that i have done that has fancy menu's and extras is the Jedi/Feta SE set which will be in segaflips hands, and metallaxis for the myspleen downloaders, within a couple weeks.
i hope this helps,if you have any more questions fire away

VHS Transfers?
Time
well i can speak for the captures i have done, and i think the LD versions are by FAR better,my vhs caps. look ok but not as good, but they still sound great just not as clear.
i have done some movies, but now i pretty much just back up vhs tapes of my son.
i will put it to you this way, if i were to back up to dvd "Twilight Zone The Movie"which i do not own,i would look for a Laserdisc version before i do a vhs version.

***The ADigitalMan non-Star Wars DVD Info and Feedback Thread***
Time
damn DS you are right, i just skimmed right over it,well any way it is very cool, just watched it a couple weeks ago and it is friggin awesome.
and just for the record the ADM edits of Blazing Saddles, and Pulp Fiction, rock too,the only copmlaint i have is in pulp fiction, you cut out the line where travoltas character says, he would have paid the guy to key his car, just so he could see him do it,that line was funny as hell.(travoltas story is funnier than the drug dealers story)
and sorry for the oversight on the "WOZ' title

.: Citizen's NTSC DVD / PAL DVD / XviD project :. (Released)
Time
citizen you could just split the VIDEO_TS folder and put on 2 dvd'r data discs, that is how ADM does it,i just copy the contents of both discs to a new VIDEO_TS folder on the pc and then burn, and it worked on all his star wars edits and the 3 harry potter films.
DJ
so how can i get a set (NTSC) from you citizen, you want a donation for the discs and time?
thanks again

Any Anne Rice Fans?
Time
not a fan of Rice, but i too started reading a book by Terry Brooks at about that same time frame, and have been hooked to EVERY book he releases since, and in a bout 1 more week another new one is released, and i have met him and got alot of my books autographed.
so Terry Brooks is my favorite author along with David Edings
