hi guys,can someone please tell me how you take an image off a solid black background,i want to take an image off to use as a button on a dvd menu,and i dont want to crop a square with the image in the middle,i want just the image(hopefully this makes sense)

I will be doing the Special edition widescreen versions as well as doing the "Fixed" version ANH,so 4 movies(and for the record,my versions will NOT be DL)

i have just finished re-doing the ANH faces VHS transfer,and almost done with this:
The US NTSC Standard Play Collection, ANH and ESB there was no ROTJ.

soon i will do the above mentioned and the 97' Special Edition VHS P&S transfer.

really you like ANH and ROTJ better than ESB?wow i thought everyone liked ESB the best of the three,and i feel your pain with all the dvdr's being sent out,but i have a few people i can PIF this excellent work to for you Citizen,keep up the great work,cant wait to view these.

thank you Russ,you are my motivator now,and a tremendous help,but like i said before if only ONE person likes what i do,that is fine by me,you my friend will get EVERYTHING i do,also both SW and ESB P&S LD's are here ,so that is up next after the ANH "Faces" fixed version,and after those then i will do the P&S Special Edition,hows that?

well i just got the Hellraiser Puzzle Box Set and Flash Gordon Silver Anniversary Edition,from Amazon.co.uk,and they are great,why is it the UK get some titles in better versions than us?

Thank you boon23,i got the torrent from mininova,the multi tracker one,and now after about 10 minute idle time, it seems to be OK, i am at a whopping 4% LOL

our walmart does not have it,Hell almost every store here didnt have it i went to BestBuy and they had ONLY 2 left,what the hell is this limited or what,it must be the free King Kong Movie ticket,well i am off to watch it now(official Frighteners 11-29-2005 release)it says right on the cover "over 4 hours of extras"

thanks,but i really dont know how to get around this if there is a problem on the tape,like i said i will try again and see what happens.
maybe use a cheap vcr that doesnt auto correct like this expensive one does

OK i saw the problem you spoke of,but if you listen something was going on with the tape so the JVC SVHS vcr player was correcting,i will try it again but if there is a problem there on the original tape,the vcr will make the corrections again,i will see what happens
can you tell me if it does this on the other 2 films?
