hell i cant remember,but it was one that i captured i believe and he fancied up,because i remember him telling the person in the thread that he HAD to stop seeding because no one on earth had this version,not even i did yet.
he would remember,because we had to all start over

hi digital,you said you didnt know who the other seeder is,rikter had this happen to him a while back,could he be uploading bad files,couldnt this corrupt your whole effort,maybe someone should PM him and find out,becuase you are the ONLY one with this file right?

Rikter you got PM,and i have also started re-capturing the Japanese Special Collection(I have my own set now,dont need sega's,he probably wouldnt lend them out again LOL)now with the NEW equipment i have(pioneer cld-79 elite)and alot of new software and help from our own Moth3r(via email,he has been tremendous help so far,thank you Moth3r)i want to take the captured video,and crop out the black bars,where the Jap text is,then re-center it,and encode and maybe mild filter,hell if i can figure out this anamorphic thing i would rather do that,seeing as how i have a widescreen TV myself,but that might be wayyyyy out of my league,i am hopefull i can do this,i really like the looks of the video from this way better player and the CCE encode template i got really makes a difference,ALOT better than TMPGEnc Plus.
So if any one has a guide on any of the above i would love links or anything helpfull,i am going to be devoting ALOT more time than i used to to these projects,plus i have learned alot more from alot of very helpful peeps here,not much help at doom9 though all they reply is "search"
the title of this would be:
Star Wars Japanese Special Collection Trilogy : Jap-Less Edition
i also want to give credit to Boba Feta,because he is actually the first one to bring this idea up to me
i may also re-do some of my other releases,i done know

OK Russ,here is where i am at now(update)

Star Wars Standard Play Collection - FINISHED-
Star Wars 97 Special edition VHS Fullscreen -FINISHED-
Star Wars "First Issue" -FINISHED-
Star wars Special Widescreen Edition (including fixed and non-fixed ANH) - FINISHED-

finally got them done,i will send to you ASAP

along with the sound files for ESB,STD. play.(the file you needed for another project)
now with the new equipment and software,i might go back and re-do some of my other sets,and possibly Blade Runner.

Now i just want to give thanks to,you Russ,for helping obtain some of these LD's,and for being there for chit chat, to Boba Feta,for teaching me how to use this damn software i have,and a HUGE thanks to Moth3r,Citizen,and Grinder for helping me ALOT.

Just wondering if any one has this or a link to this,i thought i ran across it before and never saved it,i am looking for the chapter points in ANH,ESB and ROTJ,the actual times where the chapter should be placed,it sure would make it easier, than actually watching the whole thing and placing them LOL.

Ok Russ and anyone else who is interested,i have SW "incredible shrinking ratio" & "fixed versions" Done,but what i want everyone to realise is this,i think there is a reason NO ONE used these for their releases,ALL these OLD ld's DO NOT look and sound that great,now Rikter might disagree because he is into making SL and DL versions of 1 of these sets,which is fine,but the ONLY sets that really look good are the "FACES" set(well kind of looks good)and the "Definitive Collection" and the "1997 Special Edition"so if any one gets copies of any of these please keep this in mind,so far i am not impressed with the quality,but I still LOVE the fact that they are going to be preserved,which is what Russ,Grinder and i have intended to do from the start anyways.
