and if they are letterbox,oh well,laserdiscs are LB also,just rip to your hard drive and make them anamorphic yourself,not to difficult,and i bet it will still look better than the friggin LD's.
just my opinion,cant friggin wait for sept. 12th to get here so all this damn speculating and bashing can fu__ing end.

hell you will probably find at your favorite torrent sites,someone already has done this for you,made them anamorphic and then releasing.

just curious if there is a tutorial or something on how to upload to the newsgroups?
I got downloading down,I cant believe you can DL a full SL dvd in 1-2 hrs,SOOOO much faster than torrenting,and i know how to verify and repair using QuikPar,very nice program I might add.

well said,I personally couldnt agree more,and there are alot of other peeps here that feel the exact same way,but are to tired of argueing against all the hate mongers.
I have NOTHING at all against the X0 project,damn i think it is cool,but I find it very hard to believe GL will let a fan created project beat anything he and his pro's can put out,i think i read somewhere that they(the X0 team)said that ANH will be ready when the Sept. DVD's get here,well i think we should just end all the specualtion and wait till Sept. and do a head to head comparison of the 2,and then we will see which is better quality.
and IF the GL DVD's are better,just rip the damn files to your PC and make it anamorphic yourself,it would be NO different than X0 making theres anamorphic.
sorry for the rant,but damn,we have page after page of this shit.

thanks M,
i tried that proggie,and still CRC errors,i demux audio only in latest DGindex and then when i try to change to wav,a shitload of CRC errors pop up during the conversion,and if i have DGindex demux and convert to wav,it wont play on anything,no sound,and says file format not supported.

Hi Guys,
i have Sheena in HD and it is already IVTC'd and encoded,and looks great,but now i am trying to get the sound,i am using DGIndex(latest version)and i want wav for the sound,but i keep getting errors on the sound from dgindex,even the ac3 has errors on it(something about CRC errors),but when i watch the raw HD files, there is sound,so my question is,is there any other way to get the sound from this HD file?

Rik,
since you are the myspleen expert here,i am hoping you can answer this for me,is there a way to update your NFO file without having to start the WHOLE process over again(making a new torrent file)I keep making typo's or not changing the info to match the movie.

Hi guys,
I didnt know where to post this,so I ended up here,I am not sure how to make requests on the newsgroup,I tried but dont know if it worked,but here is my question,we ALL know that alt.binaries.hdtv had the kick ass monster squad file in hd from monstershd,well evil dead has been shown on that channel as well,does anyone know if this file is floating around anywhere? and also in a couple of weeks,the same channel will be airing king kong 33 b&w in hd,now kk would be an awesome catch,so if anyone finds these or knows when they will be posted,could you please drop a line here and let everyone know.

I have version 1.5,damn so i cant adjust it with this version?
and for sources,it is a video file and a .wav file,since v1.5 cant use .ac3 files,it always locks up.

also it appears by the duration\time that the Video file is longer than the audio file,is this right,and if so how do you corect this,obviously i dont use delay,it would make it worse.

Can someone please explain how to fix audio\video synch in this program,so even a 10 yr old can understand LOL,I know everyone says use DVD-Lab Pro,but i find this very hard to learn,also how do you find out what to set the delay too,sorry for the bombardment,but i am working on a project right now,and that is what i am stuck on,and the sample SL version i did,blows away ALL LD versions to date.

1 thing though, i took meedermows suggestions and put quikpar on auto-fix, and it supposedly fixed and put 1 file in the recycle bin,then i ran it again and it said no repair neccesary,but then when i go back to unrar,same result,"! CRC failed in X0.Project.DC.Capture.Timecode.Print.divx.avi. The file is corrupt"

**ps is anyone using Grabit's search feature? the reason i ask is they dont have alt.binaries.starwars in there grabit usenet browser,does anyone know how to add it?**

I just want to thank ALL of you that have helped me get this going(newsgroups),I have it(X0 file)now I can FINALLY see how fantastic this is going to look for myself,so all the kind souls here that reply in help,and very fast i might add, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
but i do have 1 question,how can i post a request,if you download MonstersHD july programming schedule,you will see there was ALOT of shows played up to date that would be great files,example(now I am assuming all there shows on monstershd is a part of VOOM which is all hi-def)Halloween,Evil Dead 1 &2,Sleepaway camp The Monster Squad(which I now have,am joining the files together now,and start processing it,thanks Moth3r))etc. and King Kong RKO 1933 B&W is coming at the end of the month.

OK i ran quikpar on the file (X0 TC file)and it says i need 1 more block,how do i get this or do i have to download the whole thing again?
