you know what,so we have the aspect ratios wrong,if it bothers you people, correct the covers to match yourselves,my opinion on this is,I really dont give a rats ass! so we will take a closer look into that in the future releases,but I WONT have Cassidy fix all the artwork,so we made mistakes noone is perfect,and I cant believe I come back after all this damn encodeing on shit that is NOT even released to find bickering on friggin artwork,you know,this is still new to me,I am still learning as I go,I am learning how to do .h264 hd streams now and releasing my first PAL & NTSC project.

so in closing Cassidy dont worry about it,I am NOT
but we will pay closer attention to it in the future

OK I think I figured something out,the first 4 seconds of this file has no image or sound,so I just figured what if I took off about 4-5 seconds and then save,so I did,and wallah,now I am able to open the file up,so I will start encoding tonight,so in short,I think there was something screwy in the very beginning of this file that was NOT letting avisynth and cce open this correctly,and giving errors.
thanks again to everyone,and I hope this encodes OK,then on to the NTSC version,I will do the PAL first.

also thanks alot slark for the chapters and scans,very nice,this will ALL be excellent in the dvd-rom folder,IF I ever can get this damn thing encoded,but at least I got Night of the Comet encoded overnight.

thanks M, if I cant get this to work I will try that method,but this worked on the samples,but just cant figure out why not on the friggin movie.

CW I used the 1 of the versions you posted,this is what I used on the PAL sample that I did,and worked great,but when I change the script to the whole movie instead of the clip,then it wont load,and after a few minutes I get errors.
here is what I used:

well I just hit another snag,when I ran all those tests on the 4 1\2 minute clip all was fine,I did a PAL and NTSC version,and the audio was synched pretty good,but when I deleted all the samples and erased those lines form the avisynth script,and put in the line to the WHOLE file,now it wont open,its giving me crop errors,and size of video is already small,or something like that,so I wont be doing any encoding tonight,DAMN!

I just want to thank the 3 people to look at these clips,Slark,DarthBoMan,and my friend Cassidy,your input is greatly appreciated

I have another question though,does anyone have from either laserdisc or something of where the chapter stops should be on this,or should I just guess?
also if anyone has some nice wallpapers or anything that would be good for the dvd-rom folder,please let me know,I would like to add some cool goodies.

Plus I think I am ready to start doing the DVD's now,I have deleted ALL test clips and samples,and have finalised my avi scripts,so stay tuned for anyone that is interested.

yes it will get upped soon,I just need to stop starting new projects so soon after the other,I am still working on Howard,and now started Night of the Comet,so I keep getting myself behind,so if you get any of these from Cassidy,please if you can torrent or up to RS go for it,it would really help me out,I have ALL these projects just sitting on my 2nd drive and not being seen.

OK I have some samples I wouldnt mind if some of you guys would check out before I go nuts encoding the whole thing,so if interested,the PAL version sample is up on RS now,the NTSC version is being uploaded right now,so links available soon for that version,now keep in mind,this is ONLY a 2 pass CCE encode,I will have it much higher on the final,but my main concern is A\V synch,I think I got it,but after looking at it so much,I think I might just WANT to have it,so I need more eyes LOL.
I dont think I can post links in the open,so just PM me and I will give you the links,the files are roughly 215 meg VOB samples.

OK here is an update for anyone that is reading this thread,
Dark\Cassidy Productions has just finished Night of the Creeps,we are about to start Night of the Comet,and we are getting closer to finishing Howard The Duck PAL & NTSC.
and as you might notice in the above pic,From Beyond is also finished.

now I just need to take a break from these projects and get them uploaded LOL

OK CW I tried your script above and the video turned out great,but the sound is a mile off,what proggie do you use to set a delay of 1 minute LOL,the speech is waaaaay ahead of the mouths.

I cant convert this damn h264 file into something that avisynth and cce can work with properly,it is entirely different than the normal .ts HD files,so if you have any ideas,fire away.

someone mentioned to use ConverXtoDVD,well for shits and giggles I tried it on a sample clip,the video actually didnt look to bad,but the sound was way out of whack,but i would prefer to use the avisynth method I used on ALL my other HD2DVD projects,because I like the better control you have,plus I want to do a NTSC and PAL version.

so like I said,if any one has any ideas,let them fly,because I am not going to spend months on trying to figure this out,I came close to deleting everything a couple of times already LOL
