Sorry for the delay, but we found a few places where the audio went out of synch.  We fixed them, but we are giving it a few more test watchings to make sure it is 100%.  You don't know how tired I am of seing this movie over and over. *GRIN*

When I got done with my DUNE fan edit, I did not watch that entire movie again till the Phineasbg and Nighthawks fan edit came out.

Just give me a little more time to get this STTMP edit out to you guys.  It will be worth the extra few days wait.

FF

is it still going to be an Xvid version first?

and if so,how long at a guestimate would it be for a DVD release?

I am going to wait for the DVD.

Thanks FF

The day I get to toss my VHS will be a great day........ am I the only one that prefers a non-amamorphic version? lol

yes,you must not own a widescreen TV huh?

you crazy man!

Anamorphic ALL THE WAY!

Oh! don't get me wrong! I have a LG 40 inch WS LCD but I am old school, lol! Like the black bars (as it feels I am in a theatre)  for some reason... lol  YES! I am crazy!

The black bars are on the anamorphic version to,just because it is 16:9 does not mean you loose the black bars, unless it is 1.78:1,but 1.85:1,2.35:1 & 2.40:1 all still have the black bars.

1.66:1 even has slight bars on the sides.

you crazy man again LOL

Yes I have and played Umbrella Chronicles(but have not beaten it yet LOL)when I got the game I got the Wii-Zapper to use with it,but after playing a short while I realised something real fast, the Wii-Zapper SUX! because I could not get used to having the nunchuck and Wiimote so close, the gun is to small for an adult,I think it was designed for very small kids, but this Christmas my wife and I got my little boy the Nerf N-Strike game and when we got it all setup and started playing it I then realised something again, the Nerf Pistol is PERFECT,so I went to Walmart and bought me one LOL,so to get to the point,I am going to start over playing, but this time with the comfort of the Nerf Pistol in 1 hand, and I can hold the nunchuck in the other,ALOT smoother.

even on Link's Crossbow Training(which is what came with the Wii-Zapper)is alot better playing with the Nerf Pistol.

I honestly never like the RE series too much. The only one that ever appealed to me was RE2 for some reason. I think it is a fun game, but I have never actually beaten it, I always grow tired of quickly. Which is odd because I grew up loving my long winded adventure games. Though I must admit, RE2 had some shit-your-pants-freaky moments.

RE4 on the other hand is one of the most enjoyable games I have ever played, it had a few scary moment, but you are right, nothing like RE 1 or 2. Heh, scariest moment in RE4 for me was when something jumped out of nowhere at me in the game, and at the EXACT same moment a misquito unexpectedly flew up my nose. This was sometime around 1 am, and I was playing in complete darkness. I had to pause the game and take a few minutes to catch my breath it scared me so badly.

Glad you got to play the demo of RE5. It is a lot like RE4, which I think is a good thing. I am afraid if you are a big fan of the old adventure game style Resident Evils, your days are up. I hate when franchise like that completely adandon their roots, I sympathize with you. Have you played Resident Evil 0 or the remake of Resident Evil 1 on the GameCube? If you really liked the older RE games, it is worth going down to gamestop and picking up a used $29.99 GameCube just to play those two games. RE0 is a whole new game taking place before the first one, and the remake has plenty of changes from the original making it worth the time of people who have beaten the old one countless times.

Hell Yes I played ALL RE games and I totally loved 0 and the remake, have beaten them all including 4,and I agree, the older scary style RE's are done, but that is OK,I will always have my old versions to fall back on LOL

I plan on getting a 360 very soon,I already prepaid for the PS3 RE5 Collector's Edition(limited) and was wondering if I should put down a deposit for the 360 version as well.

I really like the RE games and the Silent Hill games, and all the Castlevania games,oh and I forgot, the Metal Gear Solid games rock to! especially the new one on PS3.

Hell I even got the new action replay that has the Wii support so I can cheat a little on my old games.

well my son brought over his 360 and I got to play the RE5 Demo,DAMN is it COOL!

But it really looks ALOT like RE4,I really wish they would go back to the earlier games and make them freaky spooky again,RE5 looks FANTASTIC,but it does NOT look like it will be freaky spooky like the old ones, and that is probably going to be my only gripe about RE5.

maybe the old scarier RE games are now done for these newer more actiony types which is to bad,it was the older scarier versions that made RE what it is today.

Damn Jay,

I agree with everything you say there,ALL my friends that have 360's have ALL had a problem or 2 and sometimes alot more than just 2 problems,I wouldn't mind getting a 360 eventually just to have all systems and play some of the exclusive games, but I am in NO rush to get one,I am very happy with my PS3 and Wii and my old Xbox, but someday I WILL get the elite.

Are you a PS3 user or a 360 user dark_jedi? As far as I know only the 360 has the demo. The demo was released exclusively on the Xbox 360 in Japan though Xbox Live. Crafty RE fans in the US began signing up for Japanese Live accounts in order to download and play the thing, but MS somehow blocked that so it doesn't work anymore.

Now it is even easier though. You can download the demo from several places on the web (the kinds of places you might dl fan edits from), burn it on a DVD or CD-r and play it. It is only four hundred and some mb. I downloaded it, burnt it on a CD-r, and it plays just fine, it is all in English too. Once the disc is in the drive, instead of loading it from the disc as you would a retail Xbox game, go to "Game Library" and you find it magically listed among your demos.

Hope you have an Xbox dark_jedi, because this sure helps make the wait a bit easier. This demo is very much worth the small effort it takes to get to play it.

The demo was released in Japan on December 5th. Not sure if/when they intend to release it in other parts of the world or for PS3. It plays great though, it even has co-op mode, but only through split screens. The real game will have co-op story mode via internet, which will be kind of cool.

Damn well that puts me out,I am a PS3 guy,oh well here is hoping that a PS3 demo comes out,if not,March is not that to far away.

Thanks for the info,I really appreciate it.

ALL I want at the moment is Resident Evil 5!

Me too! I cannot wait for that game. I have been playing those two demo levels over and over and over again. It is awesome. Can't wait to spent that time playing the actual game. Full game is still nearly three months away! :(

And Lj, $5 for Bioshock!!! Wow, you really ought to get it. That game is well worth five bucks, especially if you have never played it before.

DEMO LEVELS,WHERE THE HELL IS THAT AT? SHIT! I WANT TO PLAY TO!

I dropped a big reserve amount down on the $90 collector's edition,I sure hope it is worth it,this is the most I have EVER seen on a collector's edition, also reserved the collector's edition guide.

I was just at Gamestop and they STILL cannot tell me what is included in the collector's edition.

pm me if you cannot say in the open where the demo levels are please, please, please.
