And I am not even kidding around. I'd be thrilled to see these three films remade, and ultimately, I think it would solve a lot of problems. The disconnect between the two trilogies could be disolved, by literally allowing them to be two series of films. I'd really like this. I'd love to hear George announce a sequel to Revenge of the Sith.

Then we could have an old Star Wars series and a new Star Wars series, and George can go ahead and tell us he really intended two different series of films since he first began working on The Phantom Menance. I can imagine him saying some thing like, "And I said to myself, this isn't going to work. You can have two trilogies, one from the eighties, and one from the 21st century and sell them as one complete saga. So that is when I decided I would remake the originals. I knew people were going to hate me for deciding to do this, so I never said anything about it until now..." and I would be just fine with this. Make life easier. The yungun's could have their flicks, and my beloved films could vanish into precious obscurity (the best place for anything sacred, really).

This had to be released by someone else,ADM does not release in this format,his releases are all full DVD's.

also I hate to keep bombarding you with questions but,what program let you edit the English crawl off the English version then edit it into the German rip? I did not think there was software yet that would allow us to do HD editing yet.

They are in alt.binaries.hdtv.repost but the posts are around 210 days old so you'll need a good usenet provider with a high retention to be able to get them. here's what to search for using binsearch:

Do you have a scene in particular you need to use?I could post a sample of it in VIDEO_TS form so you can see what you can do with it.

also the logo's look just fine.

I tried making the avchd file with your script and this is what I got,notice Han's hand in this screen,and overall this one looks fuzzier,pardon my choice of words I am not up on all the video lingo LOL.

Good question M,I thought I read that doing the upconversion on your PC with a good filter combo will always produce better results than what the players can do,but I could be wrong,hell I thought I read that here somewhere,but maybe not.

either way it is a good question and I would like to know everyone's thoughts on that as well.

GradFun2DBmod shows some significant improvement in banding. I'm having difficulty using it at the same time as my script, due to the fact that the new pre-release of removegrain doesn't include clense for some reason, which I rely upon heavily in my script. I will need to find a work around.

Expect a new version of the script sometime in the future.

Just wanted to tell you,I will help you with this if you need,I still have ALL files still on my drives,so if you want some rendering tests or encode tests,or screenshots,just give me your updated script and give me the trim settings and we can look at whatever scene\scenes you need,and whatever new filters we need for this,I can add them to the pack I made for this a long time ago.

Just thought I would throw that out there.

No. The GOUT doesn't even have enough resolution to make a nice DVD.
