What, if I may ask, is "GOUT Trilogy V3 MBE"?

It is a special Set VBangle requested if he sent a bigger pack of DL's, and I liked his idea, I can't believe I didn't think of it, but it is "Maximum Bitrate Edition" this DL DVD has no menu's, no extra audio, it is only maxed out bitrate on the video and hairy_hens DD 5.1 to fill the entire DL media, that is all it is.

Star Wars OT & 1997 Special Edition - Various Projects Info (Released)
Time

Sorry for the lack of updates but I have been playing Star Wars The Force Unleashed II and God of War Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta, but anyways here is where I am currently at on all,

The Empire Strikes Back "Imperial Edition" - DONE
'97 Special Edition Trilogy V2 - DONE
GOUT Trilogy V3 "MBE" - DONE
GOUT Trilogy V3 - Star Wars is DONE, ESB and ROTJ still working on audio.

The reason it has been taking me so long(besides playing video games LOL) every time I check the V2 of the SE Jedi I find something I do not like, so redoing 2 more times and just now finished watching my latest, I can say that I am finally happy with this version better then all the rest I have done, so now that this is my final, SE V2 is finished, and in my opinion only, I do not think the '97 SE can look or sound any better, especially not from a laserdisc capture.

I have already started burning all the peoples packages that donated Verbatim DL's, all I need to finish and author up is ESB and ROTJ and then your sets will be on there way home to you, then after these kind folks look over ALL DVD's(since these folks will be going over everything 1 more time) and if everything is good, then I will figure out how and where and when I will upload.

Thanks for your time

Jerry Jones , what the hell took you so long ?.

Yea but do you think Garret is going to be any better? He should have gotten fired to.

This is a little off topic but does anyone have a link to the Girl Cowboys fan that supposedly did a lap dance, I see it in the news but they show nothing, and they say she shows nothing, so what is the big deal?

Oh, and Dark_Jedi, could you cap the two shots msycamore posted above from the theatrical cut on the BR?  I think we'd all like to know if the DC stars have made it onto the theatrical shots again (as they did on the 2003 DVDs), or if it's back to its theatrical form like the Here Jonesy scene.

Where exactly are those parts, about what time do they happen so I can look and grab right away.

Lets start with the Here Jonsey scene.

Please refresh my memory on this scene, what am I looking for? it has been a very long time since I have watched any of these movies, and I will check what it is you want to know.

In the original version, when Brett is calling for Jones and enters a large room with some kind of vehicle in it and finds the alien skin shedding, the scene had a "rusty" sort of look to it, and it was darker. In the DC, it was tinted to be a fairly bright goldeny colour. One of the most obvious examples are some of the early establishing shots where he first enters the room.

I will check it out.

I'm interested to hear from anyone that can confirm if it's ALIEN 'Theatrical' cut is just the same 'Director's Cut'-colouration as it was on the 'Quadrilogy' dvd set, or not.

I guess if it is (regardless of whether the Brett/Jonesy scene is different or not)

Do you have any specific scenes you would like checked? I can check this for you this afternoon, I have the DVD set and now the Blu-ray set, also what is this Brett/Jonesy scene you mention, I can check that for you to.

Where you upto dark_jedi right now?

Anxiously awaiting these - got several family members pestering me for news after I told them about this lol! :-P

SW I am about to author up and test, then I am going to re do the audio for ESB and ROTJ, all video is done for these already.

The hardest part for me right now is sitting through and watching these over and over and over, I am becoming very sick of these movies now LOL, so when finished the peeps that donated Verbatim DL's will be my final testers before anything is released.
