So, last Week I got some of the TeamBlu stuff. (The one who made this possible knows who he is :) )

And so I was able to give "The Neverending Story" (2 Discs), "Jason goes to Hell", "Conan - Extended Cut", "Night of the living Dead [1990]", "Terminator" and "Temrinator 2" a "try".

Long things short: I just love the Work of Team Blu. That's what official Release should be... (okay, personally I would love having a german Audio track, because some people I know just watch movies.. dubbed, and have no interest in watching them in original Audio, so I can enjoy these Blus only with quite a few friends... )

I think it is quite good, that this weekend my next door neighbor is not at home. The 2.0 Track on Terminator 2 is just a monster. I love the complete dynamic of the CDS (if I remember right) track, but the 2.0 Track just blows my Audio Setup into new spheres of power.

Damn great work.

Thanks MrBrown for the great words! you know if someone would sync foreign tracks for us then they could be included in future projects, obviously I cannot do it.

Your T2 looked very good, actually. I certainly don't have a problem with it. I think it's the best colors you can get without definitive knowledge of how the colors looked in theaters.

I'd say that the TeamBlu is probably the best presentation of the classic "home video" color scheme of T2, superior to any of the official HD releases.

Thanks, I was just curious is all, I think it looks fantastic myself but I am hugely biased lol.

I guess I'm trying to figure out why you're looking for it, smart ass.

Then ask why instead of YOU being a smart ass, but you calling me one is funny as hell, have you read the way you respond to people at times lol, truly funny.

Thanks to the ones in this thread that are interested I should hopefully have this soon, thanks for the PM's.

Cheers!

I don't have a link for the video yet, I think I get the duck hint if you drop me a pm.

I think that it's worth preserving, but if its the same source I found it will need a lot of timing work to get the golden hue back and get rid of the megenta

Thanks, and I am not worried about color, we have a Pro on the Team and he is excellent!

PM sent

Any news on when JGTH will be available on BT?

Yes as Vinnie said I have the info I just need to get time, also I need to try and remember how I did all this before lol, I have to set everything back up, but as I said I need the time and hopefully I will get some this weekend, we are getting a new addition to our Family this Saturday and we are excited about this and need to get ready.

Thanks for your patience, hopefully by the time I am able to put up Jason Goes to Hell Unrated I will also be able to upload Trick or Treat!

Are we (I) able to help you with these costs at all ? If you DM me some info I would be happy to help a little whenever I can to help the cause.

Yes once I am up and running(when I can get time, I do have the Box right now, thanks Vinnie!) the Team would love help, Vinnie said the Box that I will be using is $20 a month, and he has generously given us 3 months, so after that it is up to us to keep it going, soon as I get it going and I put JGTH Unrated up at BT then we can figure out who really wants to help and then I can give you guys the details, so just keep checking here for more info, I do now have all the details I just want to get something available first.

Thanks for the help by the way, it is really appreciated.

So is there a good 1080p version of this out there somewhere? and was the DD 5.1 track ever obtained?

It would be an upmix, it didn't have a 5.1 release as far as I know

Thanks, but where can this 1080 version be had(the ducks hint tells me nothing) and is it worth cleaning up and making something of it? also I have the LD, I can't remember but were the LD's theatrical or no? I do remember it had the music video which was pretty cool.

Thanks

*edit, ok I just looked at LDDB and it appears the LD's are theatrical.

Hey DJ,

It appears that the only company that supports the "checkboard" output is Panasonic.  Here is a list of Panasonic models which have been verified as of 2015 to include this output:

DMPBDT100
DMPBDT110
DMPBDT210
DMPBDT215
DMPBDT220
DMPBDT230
DMPBDT300
DMPBDT310
DMPBDT320
DMPBDT350

I did a quick look over on Amazon and found that they have a new DMPBDT230 (2013 model) which is region free for a little over $100.  In addition someone asked on the product page aboout checkerboard output and it was confirmed that it does support it.  If this is true, this maybe your best bet and the region free ability is the icing on the cake.

http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-DMP-BDT230-Smart-Blu-Ray-Player/dp/B00AYB3OMG/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1434480781&sr=8-4&keywords=Panasonic+3D+blu-ray+players

As for me, I agree with the PS3 being a good all around player but I personally have a stand alone Sony player to handle movies and reserve the PS3 for  game playing only.  I might also add that all of the Team Blu projects that I have, have been successfully on the 2 players above and an older Samsung player as well without any issues to bring up.  I hope this helps.

Thanks for this info, a Panny 210 is what I have now and it is old, I didn't think they still made it lol, I will have to look this over and get a new player real soon or things might be on hold for a while until I can test, and our BD's need testing especially BD50's, knock on wood we have not had a bad disc go out to you guys yet and I hope it never does.

Thanks again

*edit, by the way I do the same things, my gaming systems are just that, games, I do test sometimes on my PS3 just to see the cool BD pic my menu guy chooses though and to try out all the menu functions.

Hey Guys I just wanted to ask 1 more time what Blu-ray players do you all like? I have no choice now but to get a new one, I can no longer test our BD50's and we have NOTLD68 coming and it will need testing big time, and now it is started to have a hard time reading retail BD50's as well, so it is about to shit for good lol, so what players do you guys like that load fast and can read these projects we do?

I would like 3D but I don't think any Company supports "checkerboard" output anymore, my Panasonic Player now does but as I said it is almost dead! so if you guys know of any that support that type 3D playback as well that would be sweet but I doubt it.

Thanks

Found it, but I don't think it has a DVD release, so it would just be an audio commentary without an image. So yeah, it would have to be manually synced up. I've never heard the trio commentary, so I can't speak to if it is worth the effort or not, but they are usually pretty hilarious together.

Looking forward to the release, either way! The cover looks great.

Thanks for the info but for this to be included someone would have to get it and sync it to one of the 3 video's we have for our main feature, I personally could skip it myself, but like I said if someone wants to get it and sync it to 1 of our video's we can include it.

One quick question. The Mike Nelson commentary was on the colorized DVD, but wasn't there a rifftrax commentary released that included Bill Corbett and Kevin Murphy as well? It would be awesome to have both, if possible.

I have no idea and we do not have it anyways, so not sure if it would sync up with one of the 3 versions we have.
