I did some more digging and I might have found a problem. Plays fine with Nero Blu-ray player and Media player classic however when I open Media player classic and point it to the m2ts movie file and open it, it plays fine but when I go to properties to look at the file it locks up the player. When I open the movie file with Mediainfo it shows the DTS track bitrate as "open". Not sure if this is normal for a DTS track? Maybe the DTS track is causing the problem with certain software players? All of the software players on my PC default to DTS audio, bye the way.

Yea I don't know about that, the menu software we use we have to run a MUI Generator on all the assets before importing, if a file is "illegal" it will fail until we make it right, so obviously our DTS file was "legal" or it would not have authored, I have contacted my Menu Guy and hopefully at some point he can spend a little time with me today so we can discuss this, he is very busy but hopefully he will answer my email later today.

@dlbsyst, I just tried doing what you did with MPC and mine did not freeze, I loaded the m2ts and clicked properties and it still kept playing.

I did something different.  I played it in MPC-BE but I directed it towards just the BDMV folder.  When I did that, I don't notice any of the glitches.  The audio defaults to the Dolby.  So far it's playing fine.

Weird?

I'm gonna check out the last 10 minutes.  I'll report back.

It should default to the DTS 5.1, I wonder if the "EXTRAS" folder with the artwork is doing something being there? and with software PC players I always direct to the BDMV folder for testing.

Originally I was directing it to the main download folder and that is when the issues happened.  Soon as I went to BDMV, they were gone.

So no encode issues/glitches and plays right through like it is supposed to? but yours does not default to the DTS 5.1 track?

This is friggin weird! now I wonder if the others are doing something wrong? because I just now tested the Master Avi file, the encoded AVC file for the BD, and the BD in everything I can throw at it and no issues what so ever, and dlbsyst has done the same as well for me and neither of us are showing anything wrong, oh well either way I guess it won't be going back up for a while, close to my comcast limit now.

Now maybe I can get back to NOTLD 68, later Guys!

Screen or 2 please? I have just tested my BD on my PS3, Panasonic BD Player, and PC software WinDVD and PowerDVD and I am not seeing any of this, I have already told the peeps at BT to Nuke it and I myself have stopped seeding and removed from the Box, so for now until I can try and figure this out it will be delayed for a bit, so please bare with us, we are not perfect and we are bound to have a hiccup or 2 at some point, we have done a lot of projects and our menu designs get better and better and more complex every time.

I am just curious why all the people that got it off Usenet never reported anything like this, so this is very strange, either way it will be back at some point.

Thanks Guys

If you can point me to the usenet copy I'll snag it and compare.  It may be that during the creation of the torrent there was an issue, it's hard to pin down.  I played it in both  MPC-BE 64 and KODI and noticed a few glitches in the picture during the early part of the film.  I have not made it to the last 10 minutes yet, I fell asleep after a long weekend, and didn't check it.  I will endeavor to do it today.

Maybe the usenet version made it up without a hitch.  Hiccups happen.

;)

Screens? I would like to see these glitches if you can, thanks.

I'm still down for helping out and will PM this week.  As for Jason goes to Hell... the upload on BT has an issue.  I and another user over their have experienced a problem during the final few minutes of the film.  At 1 Hour 20 minutes and 31 Seconds the film suddenly freezes and jumps ahead to the end of the film, returning the user to the main menu skipping the final 10 minutes of the film.  It has happened on my North American PS3 which has had 0 issues with every other Team Blu Release, as well as on my pc.  I first noticed the problem when trying to rip the main movie file to create a smaller streamable 720p encode that I use for my home media server.  Using Makemkv the program would hang during the last few seconds of the rip.  Thinking it may be the disc I created, I tried ripping the files directly but ran into the same issue.

The release is otherwise outstanding, but as it is currently, the main film  is unfortunately broken.  Hopefully the issue is with the files that were uploaded and as such it can be fixed/re-uploaded.  I encourage others who have downloaded the film from BT to check their BD-R's to confirm the issue.

Same issue here watching on my pc. I kept looking for another file within the BDMV Stream folder that contained the final 10 minutes and wondered why it was split. Guess it is simply an error.

The copy that I pulled from usenet doesn't seem to have this issue. I just played my burned to BD-R copy back at the moment that the glitch is occurring for you guys and it played perfectly with no hint of a problem. My player is a Sony BDP-S6200.

Thanks a ton for checking for me, are you seeing encoding issues at the film start like is being reported as well? I am not seeing this issue either, going to be real hard to figure this out if I cannot make it happen and see what is what.

Thanks again for looking my Friend!

No problem. Not seeing any encoding issues. PM sent.

Got it and thank you again for doing an in depth check for me, so now I have no idea when this will be available again, now it could be quite sometime especially when myself, Team, and testers are not seeing this.

I will let you guys know here when I have something to post on it, but for now JGTH Unrated is only available on Usenet.

Anyone with the Jaws signature LD...how's it sound overall? I think it's the basis for the 30th DVD mono and BD mono. To best preserve the track we could use this and re-sync to the BD. The DTS version only has a spot or two of distortion but should have been lossless.

I also have the 1992 WS rescored version which other than the beach scene with replaced music sound mostly identical though it does feel far more robust in places somewhat akin to the 1985 home video SW mix. The "smile..you" line may have slight more clarity on the "bitch" than the mono but I could be hearing things.

Hey captainsolo you may want to look on fanres concerning the signature ld soundtrack

So non members can't get the answer here?

OK to all of you that PM'd me before wanting to help keep this SeedBox going, Vinnie said the price is $20 a month so if those of you that sent me a message before are still interested in keeping us alive and well at BT please send me a PM now and we can work out the details, Jason Goes to Hell is out now and Trick or Treat is coming up real soon, followed by Night of The Living Dead 1968 Special & Ultimate Editions.

Some titles in the works,
The Black Hole
Scream Uncut (possibly, need to get sources)
Transformers The Movie
and many, many more.....

Thanks

Is scream uncut going to be hd or sd?

It will be Blu-ray, we do not mess with DVD/SD lol, unless it is for extras, but not as our main video.

Awesome i didn't think there was an hd source for that will it be better than the currant blu rays and are you working on scream 2 and 3 as well? Please answer both question if you can.

Scream 2 & 3 don't need any work, part 1 is the only one cut.

lol what is with Supergirl? I do not think there is any HD file anywhere for this so this is obviously a no go.

 Check tehparadox and usenet.

Can't do either.

Check your PM's my google-fu to the rescue

Thanks, that filesize may be a little small to do anything with unfortunately, what a shame, this would be a great project.

Because I don't have a premium account for all those links, and I don't use Usenet, I tried to get Robin Hood Prince of Thieves Stream and the link did not work for me or dvdmike, so if files are not readily available to try and use for projects I am now just going to pass, we have enough to do anyways, I just don't have the time or patience for all this hunting anymore.

I'm revisiting the master files from my revised synchs from a couple of years ago. I think I've got a nice balance for home systems now. The audio isn't really fit for home systems as-is; crossovers and overall volume reduction are necessary because the audio is too damn loud (clipping in places too!). I'll see about making these available when I've finished the final touches.

Thanks for that, will you release each in 6 mono wav files?

Yes, I am talking about SCREAM and I can easily keep my eyes peeled at the local trade shops and flea markets for the old Director's Cut DVD. A quick scan for a few key DC scenes from my bluray I have at the moment before my kid got home revealed that perhaps the scene where Steven is gutted has the long shot intermixed with the closeup (need to find the DC dvd to make a comparison), Casey's death tracking shot is at normal speed and also where Tatum's head is crushed by the garage door is the full length crushing scene...evident by the head "smooshing" down in the same fashion as located in the screen shots found here:

http://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=256325

I don't know how the other blurays compare, but it seems to be that this Scandinavian release by Nordisk Film contains DC footage. I will try to compare the rest later tonight or early tomorrow morning after my kid goes to bed and /or before he gets up and help you get to the bottom of this. I will again also be hitting the local trade shops and flea markets for the old Director's Cut DVD as I have seen at least one copy somewhere. All else fails, I have the local Finnish  "ebay" site to rely on. Stay tuned!

Sent you a PM.

I have a copy of the local Scandinavian Bluray anamorphic release, haven't watched it yet to check if it's the Director's Cut. I'll try to do that in the next two days to see what version it is.

Are you talking about Scream? if so with it being BD I am sure it is the Theatrical that all the Countries got, but if you have the Scandinavian DVD that looks to be the uncut version, do you have this or can get it?
