I know this may sound tasteless, but maybe GL should have died in that car accident back in '62. We wouldn't have Jar-Jar if that happened.

Now this goes well beyond what I was mentioning earlier in this thread about people complaining just to complain, you are an ASS! unfrigginbelievable, at least there are a few that agree with me on this.

My only complaint, as I knew the rest was going to suck already, was that the bonus features will only be available in the big set.  Even if I did decide to bite the bullet and buy something, the damn prequels have to be included to get the stuff I really want.  It's sad when you have to think about the bonus features being the highlight of the set, rather than the films themselves.

I can't believe anyone is shocked by this either.  The shocking thing is that Lucas will let you buy the OT without the PT.

really, this is not shocking at all, with most sets the extras are on the bigger release, this is nothing new, it is an added bonus to spending more for getting more.

I agree, I don't believe this trailer is any indication at all of what the set will look like, but people like to complain anyways instead of just waiting.

ok then, answer me this: If the trailer is no indication of what the blu-ray set will look like and that they have just used stock footage from the old releases, as some people have said, then why have they used the new transfer for TPM? Wouldn't that be the old footage too?

You know Ady I have a TON of respect for you and ALL your work, but I am not going to argue over something that is NOT going to be in our hands for another 8-9 months, I am just agreeing with the other guy that the trailer might have been just a slapped together piece of SH*T! and that there ARE people on this forum that like to complain about things just to complain, hell it is already going on in this thread, can I not comment on that? I find it very funny that this happens, because as I said, WE meaning ALL of us here, have not seen the set yet and won't for a long time yet, I myself, am hoping, that all these premature complaints are wrong, but only time will tell, so do you have anything else you want to direct at me?

wow, DJ, calm down. I was only putting a valid point across to you or am i not allowed to reply to something you have said on an open forum?

LOL we both must be mis reading each other, I am going to say this now for all, I just don't think we can base the new Blu's on this shitty trailer, I want to stay some what optimistic on this release, because after these, I WILL NOT BUY anymore, I just find it funny how bitter some people are here right now over something we WILL not see for a while yet, and I am calm LOL, like I said, I find this funny.

Koyaanisqatsi - IRE Fullscreen Version (MORE IMAGE!) (Released)

Hey I am not trying to argue with you, but things are only worth what people will pay for them, just to "me" that is crazy high price, but this is coming from a guy that just paid $250 for a God Of War III Kratos statue from SideShow Collectibles, I am glad I got a copy of this(the DVD your selling) when I did, although I still see it is well seeded, and still readily available.

OH, and your Beatles comparison, I wouldn't give $1 for that crap, but again, that is just me, never was a Beatles fan.

What still remains to be done with the audio?  Did you decide to make ESB and RotJ 5.1 tracks without the music edits, or are you still synching the theatrical stereo mixes?

If you're really dead set against having those music edits I can talk to Satanika and ask him to help out with that like before . . .

No I didn't make the changes, I would need the lossless files to do it and I am actually starting to get really bored of the audio work, and here is what is left on the audio, I am finishing up the SW 1985 Home Video Stereo Remix from the JSC LD, and then I have to still sync these LD's,
ESB 1980 Theatrical Stereo   *catalog # 1425-84 - CBS/Fox, pan & scan, "Stereo Standard Play."*
ROTJ 1983 Theatrical Stereo   *catalog # 1478-80 - CBS/Fox, pan & scan, "Stereo Extended Play."*

Once all that is done, then I can FINALLY put these damn DVD's to bed, and believe me, I can't wait.

But to answer your question, if you could, and have time, that would be nice if you could do those edits, but if not, that is OK.

How are the films coming along dark_jedi?  I've been going crazy these past two weeks with no updates :)

This is why I wanted to get these done before the Holidays, I knew that the Holidays were going to be very hectic, but I actually got back to work on the audio yesterday, then I am off to author them up, and then the fun part, burn testing and watching them AGAIN LOL, but rest assured that these WILL get finished, this set will not be like the X9, X0, Aleks Super Duper Laserdisc project, and a lot of others here, I am about 90% finished now anyways, and even ALL the video has been re-rendered and encoded already, but at least The ESB Imperial Edition is already done, and the '97 SE Trilogy V2's are finished along with the V3 MBE set, so most of the sets that are going to be sent out are getting close to shipping, just NEED to finish up this damn audio, it was very fun at the start but now it is very tedious and boring.

I hope that cleared some up for you, I know people want to know when it will be shared, but as I said already, ALL these DVD's will go to the people that donated some Verbatim DL blanks first, then be shared after they watch them all and see if they find anything.

The upcoming (March 2011) german DVD and BD release of the Grindhouse feature is at the moment stated to contain the Fake Trailer "Hobo with a shotgun" . If it's true this would be damn cool, because neither the US Bd nor the jap. DVD seems to feature that trailer.

Yea I am already looking in to getting this, along with The Crow Steelbook, also that Grindhouse is a Steelbook as well I believe.

Yes it is a Steelbook, definitely going to grab this one.

The Steelbook for The Crow looks GREAT to.

Also just scored the German Briefcase release of Inception, very cool set.

Dayv knows. there's no need to remind him every other day. Let the man alone. If he wants to, he'll provide proof. If he doesn't, then he doesn't.

Time to move on.

And we ALL here know, he will NOT provide said proof, but the guy almost got 1 hell of a huge cash Christmas gift from some generous people here, you guys tickled him to death while he was watching his paypal account grow for no reason.

If he doesn't have cancer and is unwilling to scan documentation stating such, it should be bannable offense for lying, fraud and asking for donations.

I could NOT agree with you more, it is not very hard to contact your Doctor and get copies, well maybe it is for him, but copies of YOUR medical records for you are very much available upon request, and they would be probably free.

I am sure it is not to hard to read between the lies and half truths here.
