Can we get a comparison shot using these same settings showing Han and Leia close up talking on the Millennium Falcon? Would be good to see the flesh tones in a naturally brighter scene to make things clearer.

Sorry I am not getting anymore screens of this(ESB) now, it is done and it is time to move on LOL.

OK I messed with ESB enough, this just is not going to get much better, and if I do make something look just a tiny bit better, maybe a different scene looks way worse, who knows, so ESB is done and already rendered and encoded for both V3  & MBE, now onto ROTJ, I can look at the colors while msycamore tweaks his subs.

Well I have to admit as of right now I am leaning towards leaving ESB "as is" I really have to crank saturation and such to really even notice any real difference, plus I believe Dr M stated in zombies thread on color that PC monitors will show video a little dark anyways, so on our HDTV's it might be just fine, I will play around with it a little more today but I am thinking this one is good enough the way it is.

Saturation has been boosted a little to, so what do you guys suggest, help me out here, obviously color is good, but I just think it is to dark in general.

Oh and there is absolutely nothing I can do to the light sabers alone, they get tweaked with everything else, I thought they looked good myself.

for the layer break I will just try and use the one used on the GOUT, now I just need to figure out how to find that info again, then I will let ImgBurn do the rest.

Update on using the SW color tweak for Empire, it does not work, hardly any difference at all, this one may end up not needing any tweaks at all, which if that is the case, it would be fine by me, then this one would be done to.

Thanks msycamore for the pics, this is why we decided to leave it, it is not bad at all, and it is on everyone elses to LOL, so the render of the new and improved Star Wars is done, all I need to do is encode for the V3 and MBE and SW is getting put to DVD(finally).

Now I need some input for Empire, I am going to start the samples with the exact same tweak I used for Star Wars for my starting point, so what scenes should I post comparisons of? let's get this one started.

Well after the closed door discussion between msycamore and myself, we have decided that the subs are staying as is, it is barely noticeable and it is not that bad in motion, if this was truly a major issue, this should have been brought up when we(msycamore and I) first added these in quit a while back and I was sharing samples, and at least for me, who cares if there is a very, very minor flaw in the subtitles, hell the video is far from perfect to LOL, so for the record I am going with msycamore's softer subs and I am going to render now.

@msycamore, THANK YOU very much for doing these for this project and doing them for the 97 SE V2 Set also, I really appreciate it, Great Job!

Put a pic of Summer Glau on my desktop recently.  This pic, specifically: http://files.myopera.com/indrid%20cold/albums/660844/summer-glau-ballet-03.jpg

Girlfriend saw it and seemed to become jealous of my admiration for someone so beautiful and talented.  Reminded her that she used to crush hard on Daniel Radcliffe a few years ago and had all kinds of pics of him everywhere.  Pretended to a greater amount of jealousy than I had actually felt at this (was really more a slightly uncomfortable amusement).  Seemed to cheer her up somewhat.  Left to ponder strange nature of such things . . .

Thanks for the pic h_h, I just LOVE Summer, she was great in season 2 of Dollhouse, if you have any more Hi rez pics of here please by all means post them.

I forgot his were in the black border LOL, I am used to yours now, have you tried that script satanika posted? I am not sure how to implement it myself or I would try it, and if you need a little more time just let me know I can wait but need to know, at least ALL audio is done and ready to go with menu audio and menu's, so once video is done I can actually author this one up and be done.

I agree, I think the new subtitles look really good, very natural, like they are part of the film, which is the way they should look, of course. Nice job! :)

dark_jedi: The video is looking great. :) Are you making this an anamorphic video, so it will fill the edges of widescreen tv's? I don't recall seeing that mentioned for sure.

Yes it most definitely will be 16:9 anamorphic widescreen, the sub sample links are 16:9.

It looks beautiful DJ. I vote for the fuzzy subs, very nice.  Are you going to re-render the MBE of Star Wars with these latest tweaks?

Yes Sir, is that what you want, I assumed it was, but let me know for sure.

Funny thing, just because I might re render all 3 films to make some color adjustments and such doesn't mean I am going to delete the V3 "as is" render LOL, I will just back that baby up on my 1 TB external, I am just not going to be a store and take a bunch of different orders LOL.
