The scientists say it was a small thing and then it became a big thing. Those are technical terms.
The scientists don’t even have to check in at the front door of Hell, they go right through the VIP entrance in the back.
Along with the women who wear yoga pants?
Um…no.
Darn. I guess you shouldn’t trust everything you see on the Internet.
as long as you still trust me.
To bring a bit of balance to my posts, I should mention that I’ve completely gotten into Five Iron Frenzy over the past month or two, despite them being a Christian band.
Of course I did not know this at first.
i used to listen to them, back when i listened to things.
i think i recorded them on VHS at a concert back in the day, when tape was a thing.

not just the women, also the children and men.
God literally created time and space.
Citation needed.
Now really. How would he have explained the space-time continuum to people who lived thousands of years ago? And when such an explanation would have been beside the point?
I didn’t ask for a citation on how he created it, I asked for a citation on that he created it.
As opposed to it happening spontaneously?
you act like you just made an irrefutable point, but i don’t see it.
I happen to 99% believe that God created everything.
Only 99%?
fine 100%
that sure huh? not 99% to be safe?
😄
God literally created time and space. There was no “beginning” before the beginning because before the beginning there was no time. As our universe expands, so does the boundaries of the space-time continuum. God created it. Therefore, he does not have to exist within it.
And therefore, because he created time itself and space itself, he is omnipotent and omnipresent because he is capable of being everywhere all the time.
Also, people who discount the existence of angels have never considered the concept of extradimensional planes of existence on which other beings may exist and be capable of some level of interaction with this one.Apparently, you take everything literally as undeniable facts that must be read in the first degree without thinking nor smiling: the Bible as much as Frink’s posts …
Regarding Frink: “Out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks.”

Pot, meet kettle.
we already met i think?

I happen to 99% believe that God created everything. But despite that, i find it just as easy to believe that existence happened spontaneously, as it is to believe that God exists outside of our existence.
Then the people who liked The Last Jedi would be mad, lol.
It would be funny as hell, but I’m 99% sure that won’t happen.

bookmarking this for when I need a citation for missing the point.
I’m actually totally on board with this, since I’m someone who edits posts quite often because of typos and such.
it would have been a better argument if you had edited this post
Unfortunately i couldn’t find it on that site. Thanks for the hep though.
005 is super hep
Voyager is my favorite. I have no shame.
same. or at least it was my favorite, i haven’t watched it in 10+ years.
Well this is awkward. I wanted to make an announcement about leaving, but now ender already got all the attention.
How long do I need to wait?
/Sarcasm
I would eat some Crow but I don’t think there’s enough to go around.
Also I just suddenly turned into a vegetarian.
I found the reason I started the thread on page 18!
Past couple of days, yes.
Sorry to say this, but I agree.
Don’t be sorry, I can handle it.
Of course, you would also think a grown man could handle another man who is effeminate and/or gay, or a few internet people who think it’s weird that he likes My Little Pony, especially without having to start daydreaming about ripping those people’s throats out, but you’d be wrong.
I don’t wanna give away who it was about in public, though. PM me if you want to know.
Case in point.
Oooh a gotcha moment. You must feel vindicated.
Thing is I’m not denying anything in this thread. I just don’t really care that much.
You’re pretty good at hiding behind your pain, you know. You say you don’t care, but you do. The reason why you behave the way you do is to try to cover it up.
Thank you for your commentary, Dr. Chyron.
You’re welcome. As someone who has had issues myself, and talked to a professional about it, I’ve been made somewhat aware of general reason why people might display certain behaviors. I’m no psychologist, but one doesn’t have to have a doctorate to make an educated guess.
It’s true. We all the the exact same issues.
I’m in high school. I have many wonderful teachers. I don’t think any of them should be armed. Some of my teachers, and again, I love them, can hardly even operate a DVD player. I do not want any of them to be given firearms.
What about police officers that are extremely well trained and especially for a school environment and whom had been extremely background checked?

Every time another one of these mass shootings happen - right when the Republicans start telling us that the answer is more guns, guns for everyone, guns for teachers, guns for students - I think about Chris Kyle.
https://twitter.com/markpopham/status/964157915056803840
Chris Kyle was the American Sniper guy - a highly decorated Navy Seal sniper with 150 confirmed kills in the Iraq War. Whatever else is true about him, he definitely was very good at shooting guns and used to being in combat environments.
https://twitter.com/markpopham/status/964158367697723392
Kyle knew that the man he was with was dangerous. He knew he was armed - he armed him! To the degree that anyone could be forewarned and prepared for a situation, Kyle was. And yet the other guy shot two armed and trained men dead, got in a car and drove away.

Today a bunch of men are going to go to a gun store and they’re going to buy their third or 10th or 25th gun, because this scares them, and they think the gun is going to keep them safe.
You tell me in which scenario does a nut with gun have a better can at killing a lot of people.
- Going into a school where no one is armed.
- Going into a police station full of armed cops.
Or instead of hypotheticals, let’s use real numbers:
But that’s in hospitals. Maybe schools are different.
Maybe these security officers need better training and maybe they need holsters better designed to prevent a perp from doing that.
Honestly the way some of you are talking, it is a wonder you don’t post that you think cops should no longer carry guns. Maybe the military as well.
Yeah I’m not crazy about the fact that cops have the ability to kill people. That’s something that needs fixing.
Are you saying that in an ideal society some people should have the power to kill other people?
I think what we are all saying, is that in an ideal society, i would be the only one with the power.
Past couple of days, yes.
Aw man my perfect track record ruined.
It really is fun reading back through this thread, you guys should try it too. Everything’s already been said but don’t let me stop you now since I’m still enjoying every post.
you have a heart of gold and can be one of the kindest and nicest people around here.

Pardon?
only the President of OT can do that
to those who like to dump on TV’s Frink: how about you create your own threads inviting feedback and see how you like it? seems only fair to me.
If I did, and I got feedback, I don’t think I’d be in a position to complain.
And while not feedback about me specifically, I have created threads that invite a great deal of criticism, notably my Mormon thread. I asked for feedback, and I get it. Sometimes it’s harsh and rude. But I’m a big boy and can stand up for myself. I don’t doubt that Frink can stand up for himself. Otherwise, serious or sarcastic, he would not have created this thread.
Good, i think you understand this thread then. I guess i am not so sure that Chyron does.

I haven’t seen this many dazed and confused posters since 1993

that is good info.
but also keep in mind the opposite situation.
You tell me in which scenario does a nut without gun have a better can at killing a lot of people.
It would be the second one, where said nut has the opportunity to get a gun. in the first one, he would be stuck with the can only, which isn’t very deadly.
