I could also tell that the admin had been on the forum since the PMs were sent and would had to have seen them.
said every ‘not a stalker’ ever. :p
but seriously, i think you need to allow other humans to have the freedom to respond or not respond as they see fit.
I remember the tip of a Star Destroyer popping out well in TFA (saw it 3D simply because it was earlier than the 2D show… and souvenir glasses).
Yeah there’s that one shot
because of the telephoto lens you don’t think much of in 2D but in 3D it looks like the tip is going to stab you in the eye. I remember gasps in the theater when I saw that shot in 3D.
it is things like this (and what i derisively call gimmicks) that make me dislike 3D films. I feel like it makes the whole movie viewing experience take on a ‘wrong’ perspective to have parts of the screen come out at you. added depth i am OK with, but not the other way.
You wouldn’t have enjoyed the 50’s 3D wave very much then. 😉
And everything from color to sound to widescreen has been dismissed as gimmicks. And the wheel has turned such that when the rare black and white or 1.33 aspect film is made, it’s scoffed as a gimmick now.
😃 yeah, i am fully aware that my calling it a gimmick probably make me old and grumpy (that is why i tried to acknowledge that it is me being derisive when i say it). but gosh darn it, i knows what i likes. and what i don’ts.

will no one think of the children?!
I’m curious also why Lor San Tekka decided to give the map to Po Dameron, if Luke was trying to stay hidden.
“this will begin to make things right”
Kids and their dance moves these days…
If Ric Olié became a Sith, would he start calling himself “Darth Obvious” or would he made “Ric” the new Sith title?
Both are great options!
i want to see this movie / show.
also, it would be pretty arrogant of a lurker to take this name, i suggest they don’t.
I’m really hoping for an update from Puggo himself, especially since he said that the final tweaks are supposed to be done by January 2017.
Where? He hasn’t been in this thread since June. I’m almost beginning to think this is not happening. 😦

exactly, but no update here. I don’t wish to cause him stress if this project is causing him stress, that could be why he is avoiding the thread. all in good time!
I know how C3PO feels now. And it ain’t half bad.
Hey, I got a spleen invite from someone, but all I can find is the BD25 versions. Have the others been removed or am I just not using the right search terms? I’d really like the BD50 versions and the documentary discs if at all possible. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!
don’t search for njvc in the filename, only some really old out of date ones are under that. instead do a user search for njvc, and view all the user’s uploaded torrents. 😄
The prequels are bad, because they have made us look for problems everywhere. They set a bad precedent for how star wars fans should behave.
I put most of that on Lucas, not the films themselves. Had he only made the bad films, the two camps may have been less venomous. Still divided perhaps, but possibly more along generational lines or style preferences. Instead, Lucas set about dividing the fans into teams with all of his CGI revisions and lying about the 1970s.
He created the division where you either like the real Star Wars or you like the 1977 theatrical Star Wars. For deep fans of the prequels, that was license to criticize the fans who were liking Star Wars incorrectly. He created that fire and continued to add fuel to it until he jumped ship and left the huge mess behind.
that is also a good point, i agree.

May I have some more?
Y E S ! ! !
wow that is thrilling!
sorry, some unforeseen expenses have just come up in my personal life, so i will have to rescind my offer of 1 dollar.
I’ll give you one dollar if that helps change your mind
A bit of a tangent, but what was the purpose of finding Luke anyway (other than being the macguffin of the movie)? He’s been gone 30 years, and now he’s needed all of a sudden. Why? Is it to help fight the First Order? I don’t recall that the movie ever explained this.
I think he owed Han money or something.
I’m not sure why mine are showing as being larger than your versions.
Are you sure you’re looking at the filesize for just the files that will go to disk?
OSX changed the way it reports filesizes, starting in OSX 10.6 (Snow Leopard). see: http://blog.macsales.com/1852-snow-leopard-changes-they-way-we-look-at-gigabytes-and-megabytes-and-kilobytes-as-well
so, you are probably both using different versions of OSX. This is why comparing filesizes is a bad way to check for similar files. do a sha256sum and compare output.
Finally getting around to watching the last few episodes of “Atlanta”. It has its moments.
I still hold out hope that 2017 will be a great year.
Is Vader’s last line legible? And anyone have an idea of how to Vaderize the last word?
is the first one? i honestly am struggling.
Are you asking if his first line is legible? I don’t get it.
yeah, i couldn’t make out Vader’s first line.
OMG, there are big space aliens outs… oh. 😛
all kidding aside, that’s not a bad idea.
Which of these do you guys prefer for the 20th Century Fox open?
The second one!(20th Century Fox Stylophone Edition)
