The cynic in me feels like this might another Balloon Boy type hoax designed to get a book or tv/movie deal.

I first read about it yesterday. I just kind of shrugged and figured they were extreme hippie types.

JEDIT: this could also be some excellent evidence of alternate realities converging.

We struggle to get many, as I think most head out of town to find nice suburban developments. But we had some, which is nice. I am happy when I see more people out on our block giving out candy than what it was like when we first moved here… Feels like a bit of progress towards a friendlier neighborhood.
