See, you’re still talking about it.

Yes, but I didn’t bring it up. I’m replying.

See, that’s how conversation works, Frink. I say something; you respond in reference to what I said; I reply in reference to your response; etc.

And then I hit you in the head with a brick because you’re bothering me.

this isn’t how good conversations work.

Huh. I’m actually curious why you feel that way. I got no interest in the movie, but the Hulk has been a part of that world for decades.
Would you have interest in seeing it if the Hulk wasn’t in?

Yes. I like the whole Norse thing. Obviously it’s all silly and fictional, and maybe it plays better in the comics, and I haven’t seen the second movie, but I liked the first one and having something like the hulk in it just sounds like it would totally change the vibe into something I wouldn’t go to thor to get.

The second Thor was quite forgettable.

I’m a Star Trek fan, and let me tell you: there are people who call themselves Trek fans and yet only like the first 2 seasons of TOS

So?

So what?

So why aren’t you a fan if you only like the first two seasons of TOS?

The OP is about Star Wars fans who hate on people for liking things like TFA. It’s not the liking of only TOS that makes one not a fan of the franchise; it’s the bitching about the rest of the content.

You can’t legitimately say you’re a fan of something while in the same breath complain about how 89.2% of it blows goats.

except you can.

I would agree with your argument if i said, i only liked the first two eipsodes of a series, the rest sucked. Or, i only liked the first 10 minutes of a movie, the rest sucked. Then i don’t think you could claim to be a fan of a series (or a movie).

but when it is a series that has actually had many incarnations, separated by years. you certianly still can be a fan of trek, but only like one or two series. how is that hard to understand? Just because the series got changed after you started liking it, doesn’t invalidate your ability to like what you liked before.
