Obviously it’s all silly and fictional, and maybe it plays better in the comics, and I haven’t seen the second movie, but I liked the first one and having something like the hulk in it just sounds like it would totally change the vibe into something I wouldn’t go to thor to get.

I would agree with your argument if i said, i only liked the first two eipsodes of a series, the rest sucked. Or, i only liked the first 10 minutes of a movie, the rest sucked. Then i don’t think you could claim to be a fan of a series (or a movie).
but when it is a series that has actually had many incarnations, separated by years. you certianly still can be a fan of trek, but only like one or two series. how is that hard to understand? Just because the series got changed after you started liking it, doesn’t invalidate your ability to like what you liked before.

What age did you guys get your first girlfriend (or boyfriend)? Because I’m 16 now, and I’ve never gotten so much as a playful kiss on the cheek, let alone gotten into a full fledged relationship. Is that normal or am I just really lame?
It’s normal enough. I had my first relationship in college. I am not claiming that I am normal mind you.
