Video Games - a general discussion thread
Time

I've also been wanting to buy a PS2 just so I can play a ton of Dynasty Warriors games. Same for XBOX 360. I eagerly blame RED CLIFF: Parts I & II for me wanting to play these!

EDIT: I've been wanting to get Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2.

Whats Red Cliff: Parts I & II ? never played any dynasty warriors games - but if theyre on xbox 360 too, might give em a look.

C3PX - Have only played the first level of L4D so far, gonna dust off my mic and try out the co-op game tonight - never used the mic before, so im a bit nervous about talking to complete strangers! but you said it was good so gotta find out!

Anyways, I know there's nothing wrong with not liking an edit.  It's just that having Cutter pretty much say "Well look at this, the original film has bad cuts too, so mine are ok" is really annoying... it shouldn't be ok.  But whatever, I've stated my points.

Although I agree with your basic premise, you are making it more and more difficult to take your side in this matter.  When it comes to fanediting, there is no right and wrong.  If you don't like something, you don't have to watch it.  You still can watch the original, watch other fanedits, or make your own.

On fanedit.org, there is a quality control process.  Fanedits are approved or not approved.  On that site, it is valid to discuss whether or not cuts are done correctly and if a fanedit is worthy for inclusion on the site.

However, this is not fanedit.org.

Please, honestly, let it go.  We've made our points about how we feel.  If The Cutter is interested in making changes to address our points, it is worth continued discussion.  But right or wrong, he feels improvements are not possible without compromising his vision.

So let it go.

 Wel said Frink, totally agree!

This is the worst part of the movie for me, wasn't this the whole point of the prequel trilogy? to show how anakin becomes such an evil villain? and lucas was bored? didnt know how to do the scene? - so thought - well....i'll do this for now and come back to it later.....only he forgot....  hmmm

I think you've done the best that anyone could ask for with this scene  - i've said before i don't mind quick cuts - a lot of movies have them. But in this case you have to work with limited footage and there really isnt that much greatness to begin with - so yeah, make it as painless as possible and move on to the next scene.... from this point on i start to lose the will to live while watching ROTS but look forward to your next utube installments :) just put a health warning not to drink while watching them!
