Is anyone willing to do a transfer of the 1997 Special Edition VHS tapes on this forum? They have a different transfer of the movie than the 1982 VHS tapes or LaserDiscs.

myscamore, the correct titling for TESB in Swedish is "Det Imperiet Slår Tillbaka", literally The Empire Strikes Back.

I believe this tear is also on Harmy's The Empire Strikes Back Despecialized Edition, and on Star Wars Despecialized Edition v1.0, but that was fixed in v2.0.

I might soon do a '97 project using the 2004 HDTV and this project as a source. How will I be able to edit in the 1997 scenes into the 2004 version, without losing frames?

Try editing them all into a new cut, and see how long THAT is! :)
