I’m a dad whose daughters are My Little Pony fans. It’s perfectly fine and appropriate for them and I totally get why they like it.

With that said, I hate it. It’s annoying and irritating, and I’ve seen plenty of it.

To each their own. I’m just saying Star Wars fans and/or haters are not the worst.

You should also add paragraph breaks. It’s hard to read in a clump like that.

No, Star Wars fans are not the worst. I’m a Star Trek fan, and let me tell you: there are people who call themselves Trek fans and yet only like the first 2 seasons of TOS; or hate Voyager because it’s took much like TNG; or hate DS9 because it was too much like a Babylon 5 ripoff; or hate Enterprise because; or hate the Kelvin Universe (reboot movies) because it has too much action and is akin to Star Wars.

I’m also (a dad who is) a My Little Pony fan. Okay. Can’t shake a stick without hitting someone who hates that show but never watched it.

Let’s see… oh, Twilight. Plenty of women like the Twilight series. My mom and wife included. But how many people on the net are all up and down trolling about it? Lots.

There are trolls everywhere.

You need a printer that has a tray specifically for printing on discs.

bummer. I guess I’ll go get the Sharpie then.

Or you can, despite them being printable, buy adhesive CD labels and print disc art on those.

It’s what most of us do, I’d imagine.

only use adhesive labels if you want your disc to be unusable in a year or two. the adhesive warps the disc when it dries.

What? No.
I’m extremely skeptical about this.

Not that I bother with it much though since I have a media server.

An ad for The Last Jedi came on during the world series game and I had to explain the timeline to dad so he’d understand that Rogue One is way before TFA, Rey isn’t Jyn, and Poe isn’t Cassian.

Why did this actually need to be explained?

I’ve talked to several people who weren’t clear on where Rogue One was supposed was supposed to be in the timeline. When I explain that it’s right before Star Wars, they say “oh yeah, ‘Many Bothans died to bring us this information.’” “No… That quote is from Return of the Jedi.” “Oh.”

Seriously, both my parents and my wife’s uncle misplaced that quote.

No…?

Frink is the name of my cat in the game.

JEDIT: I’m looking for something…off… in what I wrote, but I don’t see it. Stardew Valley has a relationship system where giving NPCs certain stuff, especially on their birthday, makes them like you better. Eventually your ingame character can marry one of them. “Fall Year 1” means the Fall season during the first ingame year.

And I have a cat that I named Frink.

I’ve been playing Stardew Valley on Switch lately.

TV’s Frink said:

Okay.

So how many of your friends have you married so far?

I have not. I’m still in Fall Year 1, and I’ve heard from various people online not to necessarily bother with it in Year 1 because I’d have a hard time making/acquiring things they “love” and/or giving it to them by their birthday. I think I’m gonna court Abigail. She has a Super NES in her room.

But for right now I’ve been focusing on making berry jelly. I read online that a good source of income in Year 1 is Blueberry Jelly in the Summer, and Cranberry Jelly in the Fall (and to buy seeds in Year 1 for Strawberry Jelly in Spring starting in Year 2).

All of my tools are upgraded to gold; and just last night I got to the bottom of the mine.

JEDIT: Apparently that was a joke? But I don’t seem to get it.

You don’t want to burn the whole folder. You want to burn the image file to a disc, not a folder with an image file in it.

A disc image is akin to a .zip file. You want ImgBurn to effectively extract the contents of the image onto the disc so that the files on the disc itself look identical to the way the files inside the image look.

You said “You’re Unwilling to Christmas” I don’t understand. Christmas is not a verb. Also, I do not loath Christmas, I loath Christmas things outside of the Christmas season. In season, I love Christmas things.

loath is an adjective describing a noun (the noun being “I”.)
loathe is a verb, giving action to that noun.

You ARE loath to celebrate Christmas in any cultural fashion before Thanksgiving.

You loathe Christmas music out of season.

That can only mean one thing…the inundating of the radio airwaves with God awful Christmas songs. I love the Christmas season, but I loathe Christmas music.

I loath Christmas music out of season(and every other Christmas thing out of season). In season, I love it, most of it anyway.

You’re unwilling to Christmas?

It’s not Christmastime right now, though. Christmastime starts the day after Thanksgiving.

Ok.

No.

Hey look, it’s a parrot.

OK sorry, you wrote mds, I thought it’s an md5 file, ignore my post

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=mds+file

“A [disc image] may be accompanied by a Media Descriptor Sidecar file. This optional binary file (with file extension .mds) contains metadata about an imaged optical disc, including a delineation of where disc layers begin and end (“layer breaks”), and which portions of the [disc image] belong in which disc layer.”

Also, I highly recommend using ImgBurn to burn discs. Best burning software ever anywhere, and it’s free.
