I’m mostly teasing Warb, it didn’t bother me. But it’s still true that saying “I want to sigh but I won’t” is basically no different than actually doing it.

No, but I think his point was he wanted to sigh but decided to do it indirectly by framing it in the form of a joke. And now that it has to be explained…

I think the choice not to let Warb have his little joke but to non-humorously pick it apart speaks to the non-fun Warb is talking about.

It’s not fun when he sighs for an indecipherable reason and then we have to go in circles about it.

I suppose that’s more of a “know your audience” sort of issue. That is, repetition lends itself to an element of humor, but not everyone laughs at the same jokes.

Warbler at one point said it was kind of his thing to sigh regularly, so I imagine he’s not altogether serious every time he does it. Trying to decipher a reason then is the equivalent of asking to explain the joke.

The “Champions’ Ballad” DLC for Breath of the Wild is out. I’d been putting off playing it because I’ve been busy playing Stardew Valley with my wife, but so many spoilers abound on YouTube (just in titles and thumbnails alone) that I had to stop and play Zelda for a while so I don’t get any more spoiled than I already am.

He posted. Therefore he was unbanned. Therefore the sock was not his.

It’s not complicated.

But ok.

I would still want to deny the claim, if it were me. The fact that he was unbanned just means Jay and mods couldn’t prove it was him.

I imagine they could compare IP addresses.

Ah so you agree with me then. I’m glad that’s settled and I accept your apology.

For what it’s worth, I am sorry for pirating your edit. Seriously won’t happen again.

Hey if you enjoy making redundant comments and calling it conversation, ok.

Or you could stop talking about it, and the conversation would end.

I don’t know why you assert that redundancy does not occur in everyday conversation, nor why whether or not it does could be of any importance.

I hope not, but I am afraid Moore is going to win.

It’s interesting that Republican voters are all “We’re not interested in your identity politics”

are they?

Yes. I remember someone saying specifically that during the Presidential elections.

it really seems to be more a case of (i don’t like the other candidate, so at least lets vote for my party) which quite honestly, is pretty easy to understand.

Well, these days “I don’t like the other candidate because…” usually comes down to “I don’t like them because they’re not on my team. Now let me attach legitimate-sounding reasons why after I’ve already made up my mind and can’t be deterred from it. Also if you shoot holes in my reasoning, I’ll just find new reasons rather than reconsider my views.”

I believe that’s some sort of fallacy. I forget which kind. JEDIT: Rationalization.

Ok.

If it were your sock, you wouldn’t have been let back in.

I was not let back in until today. It was my second post back. Before that, one could have assumed either way.

Irrelevant to the point, but ok.

The point being what? This is a forum. People have conversations. One person can chime in about the same thing someone else already said. That’s how conversations often work.

It’s interesting that Republican voters are all “We’re not interested in your identity politics” when what they really seem to be interested in is straight up tribalism. It doesn’t matter what Moore does; he’s part of their tribe and so they support him.

Not that the Democrats are much better, but I just can’t understand the motivation to vote for Trump, or Moore, or any of these archaic backwater hicks.

I just hope Disney pulls the plug on EA’s Star Wars license in the future. I’d love to see a new KOTOR from BioWare (or a new RPG from CD Projekt Red).

I’ve lost what little hope I had for a KotOR 3. Even with EA owning Bioware, having exclusive rights to the Star Wars license, KotOR being made available on Xbone and KotOR 2 having a massive update a year or two ago on steam. Setting aside that the game series is over a decade old and it’s no longer considered “canon”, what really made me lose hope was EA shutting down Visceral because of the “linear single player” Star Wars game they were developing. I still had hope. After seeing Deus Ex get a sequel after over a decade I had hope for KotOR, but no longer. It’s a shame because it is one of the finest role-playing experiences out there along with Ultima Underground, The Elder Scrolls chapter 2: Daggerfall and Baldur’s Gate.

OMG I need CD project red Bethesda to work on a Star Wars game that would be amazing

That would basically just be Fallout 4.

But Star Wars. Which would be amazing.

The last Fan Edit you have seen thread...
Time

The forums aren’t going to close because I was interested in a film but decided otherwise once I watched it again.

Report me if you want. But don’t act like you’re somehow superior to me. Regardless of intent, you really don’t have to be a jerk. You’re not a mod nor an admin here. You might be at FE, but that’s FE. If they want to be strict to the letter then they can, but I’m not posting this over there.

All I said was that I was interested in a movie; I watched it; and I didn’t like it.
