Star Wars: Episode VII to be directed by J.J. Abrams **NON SPOILER THREAD**
Time

Well characters such as Han Solo and Boba Fett are getting old in this new timeline but for example, Indiana Jones,s son was Henry Jones the 3rd AKA Mutt Williams so they will also do similar things for the Star Wars characters and as I said before if Benedict Comberbatch was going to be in the movie he would look great as Boba,s son with the mandalorien armour and all.

Here is a funny question. What's worse the 97 Special Edition the DVD 04 Special Edition or the BD 2011 Special Edition? Luckily since George Lucas sold the rights to Disney they will probably just repackage the BD versions of these movies but also make them available for DVD as well, unfortunately they won't be packaging the theatrical cuts on BD any time soon as I have heard, so the force is not really with us :(

The little interviews at the beginning definitely need to be preserved, those alone make this worth it.

Speaking of which, I remember renting a set of the movies after the theatrical release of the Special Edition, but before the home release. I think they were a rental only edition of the special editions (the kind that studios used to release so they could make extra money off the rental places before they made the sell-through release), but I guess they could have also been a really late set of the OOT.

The reason it would have to be really late is it had a short featurette about the restoration for the Special Edition on it, but it was a different one from the one on the sell through VHS set. Does anyone know anything about this?

My captures are what is everything as seen on the tapes from beginning to the end of all three tapes, so yes the mini documentary's are in there I just cut that out for the actual film on YT.

UPDATE: First attempt failed on upload to Mega will try attempt 2 soon.

Well done for actually doing a proper capture, and not just pointing a camera at your TV (like many YouTube users do). Would you like to explain your capture process? Please take your time when posting, and try and use paragraphs and punctuation.

I still find it hard to believe you're 18, I watched some of your other videos from 2008/2009 and I'd guess you were about 11/12 at the time, which would make you 16 now.

well my roommates had a special plug in their computer to plug in my VCR then a program comes up I forget what it is called but it was already installed to their computer and so we just played the entire tape from start to finish and then I put the files on a USB stick and transferred them to my computer but my plan now is to find a USB video capture device and record the widescreen releases and convert the image to 16:9 for a more movie like experience

EDIT: true I was 12 on my first videos and I stopped making videos for a little while but I am actually 18
