I wonder what the Episode VII trailer is going to look like I say it might look like this it is a bit old school to play a trailer with the classic Star Wars music although the link on top is the Episode II Darth Vader breathing teaser trailer something like that would be fine or if it is the Into Darkness style trailer that would go back on what is said it may have a little bit of darkness.

Okay I saw the SE remaster and I have to say brilliant work it is great to see an upscale of the 97 release on a higher format although I have one quastion will the 97 versions of ESB and ROTJ be worked on too or is that being forgotten now? I didn't see if it said that on earlier posts but just curious as to if it will happen with the last two movies of the OT. 

When we saw Return To OZ we saw a dark movie but with scenes referencing 1939's Wizard Of Oz to lighten the mood and to remind us that this is an Oz movie we are watching.

Well by "dark" I meant like Return To OZ/The Black Cauldron dark so still a family movie but with lots of darkness but also so humorous scenes like a reference to the trash compactor when the charectors land in something stinky that is the kind of movie I want to see.

Episode VII should be dark for two reasons 1.There is a new threat possibly worse than the empire or something 2. This is the long awaited return of a franchise sort of like what Toy Story 3 was like but still with alot of references to the OT to tell us we are still watching a Star Wars movie.

 Well since this preservation by me is being made for DVD rather than BD this wont be very high quality but I will make it look like this was a true DVD release from 1997. 

I have to say that creature in the background of that picture also looks somewhat like one of the Mystics from The Dark Crystal which makes me think again that this movie might be alot like those dark Jim Henson movies and/or as dark as Return To Oz and The Black Cauldron. 

Well my plan of this has changed a bit it won't be a VHS preservation it will be a Laserdisc preservation instead because it is better quality than the VHS.

There is one thing good about this the OT unaltered versions are not nearly as missing as the missing episodes of Doctor Who well if only time travel was possible than I could record every missing episode on either VHS or Betamix than bury them in the ground come back to the present and make a crap load of money for them :) 

Well I just wanted to say I was watching these with a friend we first saw the special edition of The Wizard Of Oz on BD than we saw your despecialized edition of Star Wars harmy and I must say playing those two classic movies back to back never looked so good. Thank you harmy and good luck on ESB and ROTJ as well.

 That sounds really dumb and clichéd, no offense. That's what the EU has done way too many times already and exactly what shouldn't happen in the movie.

 OK I guess you are right they did a little too much of that in the EU but some darkness has to happen after 30 years if this is going to take another 3 movies.

But maybe there was another small jedi purge caused by one sith who has learned from an ancient holocron and this time it is not like what we saw in Episode III and I can possibly see a resurrected empire so if the darkness theme is not pointed directly at the jedi it should be about the rise of an even worse empire.

if they add darkness to episode VII it should feel a little bit like the darkness shown in Return To Oz, The Black Cauldron, The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth to be part of rebirth of the new jedi order scenario although these should still feel like Star Wars movies as well so not too much dark but satisfying for the jedi.  

To be honest I think our wishes will come true with the ST but why do I get the sneaky feeling George is going to ruin something in the backround. Like at first he was good with the ot and the first three indy movies than he did other projects in between such as the young indiana jones chronicles but than he announced the PT and everybody was excited even with the fact that he was directing the whole thing because Star Wars worked out very well but than people got very dissapionted when EP:I hit theatres but that wasn't the worst EP:II and III where even worse for two reasons 1. Too much CGI was involved than even episode I and the Special Editions 2. Why Hayden Christensen? and why put his head in ROTJ? so hopefully this will have less of the GL CGI crap and no Hayden please and lets just go with the timeline of the Marvel comics rather than some aspects of the Expanded Universe because clone wars sucked so lets just hope Star Wars Rebels will do better than clone wars as well as the ST will go better than the PT

 well it's been delayed and may not be continued because as I said on the Star Wars epVII forum I am more dedicated to film making than editing films that have been already made unfortunatley.

 I might have to read the novel soon. I have the game, but i'd assume the plots are a bit different.

 Quite different. Really one of the most fun EU novels.

 Well I am going to make a fan film that does not only focus on Dash Rendar but all of our OT heroes but the acception of Han Solo (due to the fact that he is still frozen). The movie will also focus on Boba Fett trying to deliver Han to Jabba the Hutt so this is based on all three the video game the comics and the novel all to make it look and feel like an actual Star wars movie.

Green Tiger Productions is a fan film making team I have set up to work on fan films for those in my country who likes to act/film make/edit fanmade movies and here is my list of projects I have in mind so far and I made this forum to see if anybody has any good ideas as to what I should film.

 actually I loved Pierce Brosnan and it was GoldenEye for the N64 that got me into the 007 movies in the first place and that is why I am making a dedicated spoof of GoldenEye called "GoldenGuy" on my new YouTube channel Green Tiger Productions (that's right I am more of a film maker than an already made film such as Star Wars editor and that is why SW:POO is taking forever) there will be a spoof of epVII as well after the movie comes out in 2015

Here is something new. I was watching the doctor who episode Day Of The Doctor and it featured the previous doctor in the series. Now it would be cool to see the return of Pierce Brosnan as either Felix leighter or as another double oh agent.

My worst fear of this is the movies turning out to be worse than the PT and that was bad enough :(

Not that this will matter much but I watched this version of the movie last night and then I watched the BD version of Star Trek:the motion picture and they look good back to back unlike before with the official BD release of Star Wars aka A New Hope.
