Yes that and because if I put the movie in fullscreen mode it almost looks stretched but I also noticed the theatrical subtitles are on the widescreen bars so we need to figure a way the matte them in and give this a proper theatrical kind of presentation.

Also here is what the files and folder names are

Folder 1 Star Wars Trilogy 1997 Cain's Capture

Star Wars A New Hope. avi

The Empire Strikes Back. avi

Return Of The Jedi. avi

Folder 2 bonus material

1997 Mini Documentary #1. avi

1997 Mini Documentary #2. avi

1997 Mini Documentary #3. avi

Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition Trailer 1. avi

Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition Trailer 2. avi

Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition Trailer 3. avi

Capturing The 1997 VHS Tapes( a small 10 minute video about how I did these captures, coming soon to YouTube)

Please note the mini documentary's are from my second fullscreen captures because they obviously did not change between the fullscreen tapes and the widescreen ones the only other difference I found was apart from the movies being in widescreen was that the tapes also had the trailers from the 1997 release of each movie. I decided to have everything split into separate videos so people can see the movies and see the added stuff as bonus material.

I found out what pan and scan means according to Wikipedia.

Pan and scan is a method of adjusting widescreen film images so that they can be shown within the proportions of a standard definition 4:3 aspect ratio television screen, often cropping off the sides of the original widescreen image to focus on the composition's most important aspects. Some film directors and film enthusiasts disapprove of pan and scan cropping, because it can remove up to 45% of the original image on 2.35:1 films or up to 53% on earlier 2.55:1 presentations, changing the director or cinematographer's original vision and intentions.

So I wonder what George thinks about those VHS tapes.

Here is what George forgot in the PT. What makes a good franchise is a great story of romance and adventure. It also made James Bond, Lord Of The Rings and The Godfather. George put great feeling of exactly that in the OT but when the PT came in it was more like politics and we get enough of that in real life. Yeah that's right I am talking to you Obama and you Bush.
