I have made some changes to the "High Tension" cover. On the front I have tried implementing another image. It's a rough blend as I don't know if I should use that picture or another one. just great! very good front pictures and writing, I am not so sure about the silver frame, but that is the series, so it's okay, the side is very nice and fitting and the back cover is sufficent and well done. Congratulations. What I like best is your diplomatic way of changing our texts and correcting them to real English and less offensive. good work.

CBB008 - War of the Worlds: Extinctive Cut (Preview #02):
I've added an element to the spine, changed the image on the back from concept art to a piece of poster art, rearranged the text (resized/respaced too) and put in an element of the "red weed" to fill some black space. What do you think? Better? Worse?

great picture in the back!!! Since I have never seen it and it is not part of the movie, I suspect, you composed this on your own. WOW! Tough work. Very good cover art for this one too. I consider both covers finished as they are now, but then you never know what idea is still on your mind. Keep it up.

you may send me the final versions of your cover art as soon as you finished them, so I can add them to further uploads.
...after all it was worth it to keep you in the credits of WOTW TEC. ;-)

I have seen very few fanedits of the ones mentioned here, especially no Star Wars edit at all. What I want here is a poll about fanedits of movies, this means that there is an original movie that was altered. This is why there are no DigitalfrakNYC DVDs mentioned here, although they are fantastic, but they are something completely different. When I add Star Wars edits I have no idea what they are about, I just do as I am told by you guys. Btw. I think it would be nice to either have an official poll or pin this to the top, because it might attract people to watch some fanedits and show them what we have done already. Still 24 votes after 10 days is seriously weak.

hi klokwerk,

first of all: nice covers. Very well done. DVD details are right and the texts are well transposed to real English.

Hight Tension cover: what I like: the title writing, the large amount of blood, the overall dark atmosphere of the front. Actually this fits the movie better than the Rikter cover. What I don't like: the back picture, the middle front picture is cool but not part of our edit, the title writing on the back cover.

War of the worlds: I like the front and the title font you chose is also nice. The picture in the front may be the same as in the original cover but since it is more focussed on the red spreading and reaching plants, it delivers a different atmosphere, kind of disgusting, I like that. I don't like the back cover at all, neither the text presentation (which looks too square) nor the picture, because it is too animated.

Still I am looking very forward to adding these covers to future postings of CBB edits.

"13 growing to 30" will be finished in february. Our edit will contain a few of the deleted scenes but most of all filter out the embarrassing and kiddy humour moments that make it close to impossible to watch it twice (e.G.the taxidriver scene). What remains is (hopefully) a nice romatic comedy that made Mark Ruffalo a star (because he is acting just great) and Jennifer Garner so sweet.

The problem may be specific to Nero, because it produced an eror message when the slideshows were present. Since there was no other way (spacewise) to include the original broadcast, which lasts 1hour (which means that the total playing time of this DVD is somewhere around 4hours), I had to make an ISO image, because I thought people would NOT burn the DVD if they found an error, even if it could be ignored. On DVD players the second slideshow produced an error when hitting the menu button, so it had to be replaced with a videoshow. But now people were asking how to burn an ISO image...phew... this all reminds me on the Pearl Harbor edit on myspleen, which does not fit on a DVD5 if you leave the DVD-Rom folder untouched. People were talking about DVD Shrink instead of just removin a few covers... my oh my.

Feedback: it would be really nice, if someone who watched the edit would post a comment, be it positive or negative. You may not undestand why I write this, but 500!!! downloads and no comment at all.. is seriously weak, especially for this forum here, where people do talk about fanedits, at least that is why I am here. CBB wants to improve their work, so please let us know what you think.

Ah, I knew I had already answered that, but it was in a different thread. Sorry for the delay. The cover for WOTW TEC was made by our member Castor & Troy as are all our "official" CBB covers. We all think she is definetly getting better with every cover art she creates. It took her about 30 hours until that one was composed like it is now (at least this is what she said).
