While I'm saddened by this in one respect, Titanic isn't exactly close to my heart. A fix like that is akin to removing the reflection from the glass in the snake pit in Raiders as far as I'm concerned. But hey, what do I know? I'm just a kid.

I alternate my time between college in San Diego and at home in Los Angeles. I could be a fallback, but Riverside etc. is inbetween the two - and I'd have to go inland as well. I don't normally leave either city unless I'm... on my way to the other one.
If you're actually considering renting an apartment is it safe to assume this is an extended visit?
I'm afraid all I know in that regard is that whenever we used to visit my grandfather it was tough to find a cheap hotel; namely, anywhere near Penn Station is expensive. Then again, we usually visited on-season for holidays (X-Mas time etc.) Wish I could be of more use.
Funny thing is... I've seen reviews claim that's the only fun part of the game! haha. Apparently control is really sluggish.
I recommend some Birdemic-inspired effects shots someplace during the battle. Or in one of those establishing shots on Camino.

50/50. It was quite good - the comedy was believable and was able to take a backseat to the drama unlike many movies marketed towards the lowest denominator these days. 3.5 / 4 balls.

Cartoon Network is the April Fools king. Instead of airing Adult Swim and The Room (sorry, Frink), tonight, they aired Toonami. Yes, THAT Toonami. I tried really hard to not be excited, but I eventually caved in. I've really missed that action-oriented block. Only Toonami.
For reference: this is the kind of care that belong sin a cartoon block. Shorts, kind of like what they're doing with the DC Nation thing now.
Oh and also: TOM hates the ME 3 ending too.

It's a bit... simpler than most dramatic Miyazaki films. It has a clear villain which is unusual for him.
Also, the dub does have a number of changes that some don't like. But Disney went back to the Japanese score on their most recent release... I'm not sure how I feel about that actually, because Joe Hisashi DID in fact score Disney's requested revisions himself. I always figure a little more background music isn't always bad.

Well -1 has done his trademark DELETING EVERYTHING trick and the blog is officially empty. I'm not quite sure if that makes sense ,but he did warn us. So...
Here's hoping the ones that haven't been released to Blu yet are getting the modifications seen on the HDTV releases. OHMSS had awful color grading (particularly for the opening beach scene) on the DVD but on usa it seemed that they'd tweaked it some. I'm holding out hope considering Live and Let Die got significant improvements from the DVD to Blu, even though it was from teh same Lowry job.
