I can confirm that there's been a slight delay on my end more recently as well, but usually when I'm on a public computer rather than on my laptop. Don't know if that means anything or not, since it's connected to the same wifi network on campus, but add me to the list.

If Harmy lived in the US I think this could have been a problem. But if Lucasflim bothered to press charges or take action against him in the Czeh Republic? Whatshername in charge would have to be pretty nuts and I'm pretty sure it would be a PR fiasco.
I'd love to see Lucasfilm release a statement of SOME sort, though.

I've always wanted to see Leethoroughgood's technicolor attempt but it was only ever posted to the newsgroups so I didn't end up getting to. Is it still around there? I might do a free trial.
Limitless (2009). A fun semi-thriller movie about smart pills with some interesting, if occasionally annoying, camera tricks. I fully enjoyed it, though if I were in a more analytical mood I probably would not have. Somewhat conventional.

I'm no authority on the subject of course, so take my opinion as you will. I'll say it's without a doubt a step in the right direction, though you may want to go a bit more radical with some of your choices. You_Too is a good person to ask.
It's a very slippery slope considering the high red level in the GOUT whenever increasing the saturation. Despite that, these newest shots look okay. I'm a bit distracted by how stretched they are though, haha.
My only problem is, again, the reds. And that's really only a problem with the second shot in this set.

Hm. Considering that there have been further tweaks to some of these, I wonder if From Russia with Love has had its cool tint removed... or, at the least, subdued some.
I did see it on abc family's HD channel maybe 1 1/2 years ago, but for some reason it was pan-and-scanned... which is odd, considering they air pretty much every movie 16:9 even on their SD feed. Maybe this hint might help you look.

I've always thought that colorized films were a fun alternative to the original, when done correctly. Unfortunately, when the process first started, many times the job wasn't done right at all. Luckily, as technology has improved, so has the work on this sort of thing. For instance:
It's pretty obvious which one was done later.
Note that I said alternative; I believe that it should be a bonus feature at best, and nothing more. The current DVD/Blu of It's a Wonderful Life got this right by including a modern colorization done by Legend Film.

His view is sadly more common than you'd think... and it doesn't even have to apply to Star Wars! I have a friend at college that won't watch anything from pre-last decade because she - honest to God - thinks HD invented quality. Period. It sickens me that I'm the only person who has ever called her out on that.
Love it. Reminds me of the attraction posters at Disneyland, actually. I hope you do one for just Star Wars as well.
