Final Post. Ever. No more. & Something for you shitbrains to think about...
Time
While many of us could have been nicer, you claiming to leave and then just popping up again and again kinda proves their point. Rob's a dipshit as far as I can tell, but vbangle's just tryin to have a little fun here and there from what I can tell. Look - if you'd apologized, simple as that in the first place, none of this would've happened. You seemingly get mad at us for no reason (although that comes with OCD from what I can tell, I've seen it first-hand in my class at school), and then at random times retaliate. Zig, (take off ever-*is shot*), I can't defend you after your last few posts; however, had you not made them, I'd be defending you right now.
Also, it's not wise to blame social problems on a mental difference.

Michael Moore's Sicko
Time
This is from Wikipedia, mind you, but:

"Although the film was released on June 29, 2007, a copy was leaked onto the Internet in early to mid June 2007. Moore, who previously stated his support for Internet downloading, denies leaking the video himself and an investigation has been held as to the source of the Internet leak. When asked about the leak, Moore said:
'I'm just happy that people get to see my movies...I'm not a big supporter of copyright laws in this country...I don't understand filmmakers...who oppose sharing, having their work being shared by people, because it only increases your fanbase...I've always been happy in the past when teenagers have downloaded pirated copies of my movies...They've been downloading them and they've been sharing them, and I think that's great.'"

Sounds like he'd fit in here ;D (just kidding!)
However, it's interesting that he promotes that.

I didn't like the direct-to-DVD series much, but it was real animation which made me happy. You're probably right about that dayv.

A New Direction For The Petition
Time
Regarding 4:3 tv's, I heard that come 2009 the US is switching to digital projection - so, if you don't have a way to connect to that, you're screwed.
http://news.com.com/Digital+TV+switch+set+for+early+2009/2100-1028_3-6004429.html I don't quite understand the whole concept, but all I know is that I'm safe for now.
Right, back on topic. I'm all for taking the petition in a new direction; what we should - nay, need - to ask for is a totally remastered OT without the color problems that plagued the OT '04 DVD. Has anyone here asked Lucas personally about the SE's? The thing is, Lucas knows that we hate it, just not why. I mean, I recall hearing he wanted to do new Flash Gordon serials (or a movie) before he did SW, but not having the rights; the analogy (right word?) I'm trying to make here, is that if someone were to ask him what he would say if the changed Flash Gordon in a SE way, I'd bet you he'd make the kind of response most of us here make to the SE's. I have not seen any flash gordon serials, movies, comics etc., but if anyone could come up with a critical moment - and ask him something like "what if so-and-so had shot first" or something, I think that might have some effect on him. But then again, maybe he'd just get angry; I don't know.
