The Planet of The Apes - The Twilight Zone version. (Released)
Time

I didn’t see a thread for this, so I thought I’d bring it up. Some guy “re-imagined” (I put it in quotes as some might not find that term fitting, I think it is) Planet of The Apes as a Twilight Zone episode. I haven’t seen it all, but I figured it would want to be seen by you guys.
Below is some info taken from the youtube video.

Planet of the Apes “re-imagined” as an episode of The Twilight Zone. Why?

Rod Serling, creator of The Twilight Zone, also co-wrote the screenplay for Planet of the Apes. Which is why the movie plays like a two-hour episode of the show, complete with social commentary and shock ending.

Thanks to digital video editing, I was able to re-edit the movie as an episode of the show. Opening narration comes from the episode “Elegy.” Closing narration comes from “The Shelter.”

You can read the full “making of” story at http://www.theforbidden-zone.com/media/tzone.shtml

Conveniently, it’s small enough it doesn’t even need a torrent. Enjoy and I guess post your thoughts here.

I have spent nearly all of this time constantly in and out of hospital and will be going back in for treatment again in about a weeks time. If all goes well I will be back home before Christmas, if all goes really well, I may be able to start contributing to the X0 team again by then, but I really don't know at this stage.
I only managed to get back in contact with the team last night, and haven't logged on here since I left, so have no idea where everything is currently at.
Thanks for all the well wishes, I will post here again once I (hopefully) get back home again.

It's good to hear that you're still alive Laserman; as a newbie (still), I can't say that I know you; however, I've seen your contributions and they seem to be great ones to the community.

Info Wanted: Moth3r's PAL trilogy vs. anamorphically enhanced GOUT's
Time
If I may jump in here, I haven't seen moth3r's transfers - however I have heard amazing things about them. The GOUT in most shots has more detail than all of them, even moth3r's; it just suffers from many different problems that make it worse in the long run. Shaking film, just bizarre damage here and there, and grain. Lots and lots of grain. Could someone clean up the GOUT and make the best OT version ever? I think so. But I can only encourage others to do so.

Paprika
Time
Satoshi Kon (of Tokyo Godfathers and Paranoia Agent fame)'s newest epic. Amazing story.

Summary snipped from IMDB: When a machine that allows therapists to enter their patient's dreams is stolen, all hell breaks loose. Only a young female therapist can stop it: Paprika.

If you want it, it's traveling in theaters right now I think - but tis easy to warez if you really want it. Best anime I have seen in theaters - think Miyazaki's movies are a trip? Try this one!
