STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW
Time

First trailer shows an updated Emperor, much improved IMO. The new dialogue is being removed, and all that will be left is the McDiarmid footage and his dialogue. Trimmed to have less BS.
edit- went looking for the screenshot that used to be in this thread, noticed it was gone. Reposted below to show the newcomers.

Something you all might enjoy... vintage style, custom made action figure cardbacks

lol, Axia. You can thank Vaderisnothayden, who's views not all of us agree on per say. And whether we do or not, he's definitely the most outspoken. Just don't lump us all together... I for one enjoy the action figure things that I've seen; just haven't commented.

On my end though, I apologize for contributing to the Dragonball discussion.

DarkFather said:I remember one time there was this interview with the Japanese voice actress for Goku. She was saying that the way the American dubs pronounced Kamehameha "sounds all wrong." No, her voice coming out of Goku sounds all wrong.

I like Ms. Nozawa's voice acting - but she's an old biddy. I might go as far as a bitch; she talks about how all these kids just want to get into voice acting, while she's a real actor. And also, she mispronounced Kaio Ken in Burst Limit - while Sean Schemmel actually got it right for once. Hypocricy ahoy!

Info & Ideas: ESB and ROTJ Wishlist

Here's a funny idea I had... what if the celebrations were before the funeral? I think it might work, given the proper editing. Make it so that it's almost as if the ghosts of the three Jedi are reminding him that he has a duty to dispose of Vader's remains. Also, it would feel darker IMO. Besides, Luke seems the type who would skip out on the celebration for at least awhile for some alone time. That is, if the teddybear parade were used instead of the world celebrations - I'm in the minority, but I prefer that to the celebrations (not the music mind you, the celebration).

Hey

Watching oh_riginal's (interesting) video, it reminded me something that bugged me with the DVD, yet I'm not too sure about it: I believe that in the DVD version the musical cue has been moved a bit earlier compared with the SE VHS or OUT version.

On the DVD, when Han says "Detach!", the music begins (see pic below).

But in my mind the piece had always begun a bit later, during the following shot (see pic below).

I don't know whether I'm hallucinating or not, so has anyone noticed that?

I don't know if anyone noticed this post of mine on page 350, among the furious debate of the Falcon holo :D

I just checked my really old VHS (I got at Value Village on Sunday), and you're right. :)

On the VHS, Han's theme starts just after the 'clunk' sounds of detachment. On the 2006 SE DVD, just as Han says "Here we go chewie..." some gentle violin music starts, and after Leia says "You have your moments", Han's theme finally starts.

I think it was modified to allow for the extra little bit of footage of the Falcon & Slave fly-by.

Quoted because I think this is rather important and should definitely be addressed.
