That better be the royal "we", Fink.
That better be the royal "we", Fink.
...you know, that might have something to do with that. I just went straight to the numbers and didn't read too closely. Shutting up now.
8 gigs for raw uncorrected footage? I hope that's a typo...
I assume the DCP is for private eyes only, am I right? This is the first I recall hearing of it. I take no issue with that, but if it is in fact available and I missed the memo, I wouldn't mind taking a peek.
Makingstarwars.net, when they claim they trust a source, is supposed to be quite reliable. That piece I might trust.

Must be a regional thing, because real sugar sodas easy to find in Southern California. I think it's imported from Mexico. In some smaller supermarkets, I've found brands of soda I didn't even know were still around!
I recall hearing that Mexicoke (yes, that's what we call it) was on its way to switching from real sugars to processed stuff. Don't know how true that is, though.
edit: Yes... but only in Mexico?. Apparently they understand the niche value in having it imported around SoCal so they still make some batches with real sugar for here. Go figure.
Yeah. I've seen him put on a good show for other performances, but he was wailing and having a hard time holding his notes. I hope it was just a bad night!
Also, how bad has Stevie Nicks gotten? You've got me curious. I know she didn't quite hold onto her looks (though she's looking pretty well nowadays), but I didn't know she'd lost her range.

The 40th anniversary's only funny moments where the rehashes of past funny skits.
When you're doing a tribute show specifically about the legacy of a program, that's about what I'd want out of it if I were producer. After all, it's hard to top a return of Celebrity Jeopardy; that's one of my favorite recurring sketches of all time. Bill Murray's Jaws theme was fantastic, too, but I thought the entire set-up of the musical moments montage was poor. I also liked the audience Q&A, but mostly due to Larry David's appearance. We totally got screwed with Eddie Murphy, though. After that huge intro Chris Rock gave, I was hoping Eddie would at least crack a few jokes, but all we got was a cliche thank-you speech.
I wish it were a little less clip-show heavy, but at the same time I also get why they did that. Just wish they had saved it for the Players who are unfortunately no longer with us.
Really? I thoroughly enjoyed it. My only problem was the musical numbers fell flat (outside of Marty and Bobbi and Bill Murray).
I died at Celebrith Jeopardy, but that's always been a favorite of mine.
Ugh, 18 year old bkev
no
why did i have to see this
well this is totally not what I was expecting from the thread title...
This will take me some time to give an answer to. There's best subjective album, as in favorite, and then there's best musically. I had one yesterday in mind but now I can't remember it.
Don't get too excited. I'd love for that to be true, but the MoviePilot article cited by the ibtimes is from a contributor and not someone on staff. Notice he's only got 4 followers and that's the only article he's posted that has gotten any traction.
Also, my friend who works there doesn't buy it. Take that as you will.
Actually I think tentacle porn came about because of the US's post-WWII occupation of Japan. Our prudishness rubbed off on them, to the point where they passed laws saying pornographic material couldn't feature real penetration. Hence, well, tentacles. Hell, even today the tip is often blocked out -- even if just by a barely visible black bar.
Not that I know this from watching, or anything.
I can't tell if you agree with Hairy_Hen or not Frink, but I'm of the same mindset. Better to have a controlled outlet than to let something like that stay bottled up and occupying your every thought day in and day out.
*actual facepalm*
Too bad Weisman's already left the show. I still suspect executive shenanigans are responsible.
Are you sure the MCP was CGI? I was under the impression that Tron, ironically, had very little CG in it
More seriously, though, that sucks. Hope your landlord will at least look at the leaky roof.

Darn ever changing internet. There used to be a site that did a shot by shot break down of every single change in the Remastered episodes. Can't find it anymore.
I hate self-promotion but maybe you'd like my youtube channel : https://www.youtube.com/user/TrekkieChannel
startrek.com used to have detailed breakdown of all the changed scenes in the good old times before it started to suck
Damn you, Boost.
I'm addicted.
Ironically it seems as if Frink was the only one who attempted to offer any help. :P
that's all I got
