How is the bitrate on the 97 SE discs? Would it perhaps be better to use the UE and then colormatch it to the SE discs, making occasional changes here and there? I mean, a DVD from 1997 probably doesn't have very good bitrate...

Also, broken link, but...

Does the UE DVD offers more information than the SE one ? </div>

Yes, it does. (on all four sides.)

Also note that the image of the SE is slightly squashed, distorting the image. (causing people's face's to appear thin and long...)

There were certain moments where I kind of spaced out a bit... mind you, I was sick, so that could have been it. I still think it's in my top list of Bond movies I've seen so far. As for the blue tint, I don't recall exactly if there was one, but the scene was rather dark. His skin tone certainly looked more natural than it appears to have on the comparison page. Also, it sounded like the mono mix; I don't know what audio mix the Lowry prints normally use.

Across the Universe. Simply brilliant, but then again I'm a major fan of The Beatles so I may be just a little biased. Watched it with my dad, and we both had different responses. He said my generation being fed the '60s like a commercial product, which I don't really disagree with; however, his big question was this: what is my generation's cause? I don't really think we have one; and, if we do, it's to not have a cause.

My response was to wonder how many people who protested Vietnam had a personal stake in the matter and only really cared because of that, rather than for the sake of the other thousands shipped out.
