im currently working off the cartoon network episodes that ive been getting. when they eventually emerge on a higher quality format i will recut it. (assuming its worth recutting though!)

not to sure about colour correction, it appears to have a very similar visual atmosphere to ep III. im not that skilled at the film editting beyond chopping and placing.:P

this would be more about, 'is it possible to make a watchable film from this'

if anyone hasnt watched the series its well worth it! i think someone is uploading the episodes to youtube as they are shown.

i guess so, it just sounded really cool. as i said earlier, its all open to change at the moment. the thing i liked about the title was it sounded quite punchy and in line with the OT titles. ill finish the film then i guess we can figure a new one!:)

i was wondering if to make the ewoks more intimidating that we could see stormtrooper heads on sticks and grizzly totems pinned to trees. maybe the forest could be like voodoo creepy perhaps?

HUGE improvement on vader! does Hayden Christensen have blue eyes or brown?

thats another awesome mockup vaderios. the lights kind of add tension to it like a stage.

perhaps some holographic displays showing the rebel fleet would be interesting, which fizzle out when ackbar shows the plans. the glow could reflect onto the faces of the generals when they get close perhaps?

i never minded the briefing, and SSWR's recut of the scene worked really nicely, especially with luke.

couldnt we just quickly cut to boba fett, a henchman or chewie something as he walks over the tail.

those shots look so awesome! it would be so cool if behind every window in every shot we see the battle. each window from different locations could have stuff going on from different distances.

i reckon the battle shots seen through the window of the emperors throne room should be kept quite far off, until perhaps the lightsaber duel with vader gets really intence, i could imagine that last charge that luke takes against vader could have craft literally meters from that window he passes.

i understand it being illegal to sell any copies of revisited, but would it be illegal to sell an adywan documentary dvd? basically all the special features, maybe original art, storyboarding and interviews. if you take the time out to make one after completing ESB:R we could all pay like £20 up front. then all you would have to do is post out the dvds, maybe with a signed ESB:R poster too?:)

i was wondering if you could do you cantina style manipulation on the worm's body, so it looks like its mass of flesh moves when it moves too, could also heighten the volume of it.

ok it took longer than 30mins.:P its the opening crawl and the pan down, probably the most tricky things in the whole edit! if you have ideas for a better crawl then let me know, this will just be a demo edit for now, ill keep jamming chunks up on youtube.

i think the movie was a mix of episodes, so im guessing they probably just jumbled the series up somewhat.

could a full alternative Battle of Endor storyboard be developed? perhaps just scene for scene, to show how the old footage and heavily editted material fits in?

which episodes do you think may work darknikos? for this i am combining the malevolence story arc with the christophis story. i may slice in a padme story too if possible.

maybe the more space battle we have the less ewok we would need. do you think that with the DSIII twist, the Imperial ambush on ednor wouldnt be necessary? so han actually blows the place up first time?

if this all happens, would it be appropriate to have imps celebrating on endor at the end too?

also, would the shield generator protect one or two death stars?

id like to see the battle ships firing side to side like in ROTS. even if they just line up to each other and we see an intense barage of lasers shooting left to right. we wouldnt have to see people on the inside loading cannons or anything.

well the colouring is dependant on the symbolism. i guess there is three options so far, :)

a) colour dependant on rank/power, thus yoda luke and mace

b) colour based on unorthodox practice, ie luke and dooku

c) colour based on old/new orders, PT sabers (I-V) blue, VI green

someone once suggested that only masters ever get green, so i would have been curious to have seen obi wan getting a green saber from II-IV.

has anyone noticed how inconsistent anakins and obiwans blue sabers are? they go from light blue originally to deep blue in CLONE WARS

perhaps vader and palps could be watching a vast imperial star fleet on parade. doesnt necessarily need to be anything under construction.

the idea is PT jedi and basically any old republic era jedi have blue, and luke makes a green sabre for ROTJ symbolising the birth of the new jedi order.

PT jedi could have alternative blues, deep CLONE WARS blues, turqoises, light blues like ANH, cyans etc.

what if ghost yoda was in bens hut too? wouldnt make much sence, but if the dialogue from the beginning was cut/changed. additional dialogue could be used later if he appears as a ghost. alternatively he could just appear silently.
