I wonder what a snowspeeder was doing at MGM? Wouldn't 20th Century FOX make sense? In case ADYWAN missed my question......what do you think about trying to fix that 60's-70's Star Trek view screen in Vader's chamber place?

As far as I remember, that (along with the AT-AT, skiff and Ewok Village) was not screen used. Just props to display infront of the ride. Though I think they did have the real holo table somewhere else in the park.

Incorrect. There was a speeder on the backlot tour...along with some other props. I have a different picture of it from the 1990's. I have to find it somewhere.

To confirm, there is an AT-AT outside the ride along with an Ewok village but these weren't unused screen props but purpose built to hide the wiring, lighting feeds, speakers, etc leading into the ride. On the backlot tour, there is a Sand Skiff as well as a Snowspeeder and possibly another prop from the movies.

@Gavin, Lucasfilm made a deal with Disney for the Star Tours ride which gave them permission to have various props (not to mention the great Indiana Jones Experience) at their parks. As there isn't a Fox park except in Australia, the studio is represented in both Disney Studios and Universal Studios' theme parks. As far as I know in any case...feel free to correct if I am wrong!

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

I think we all need to realise that Adywan will make the changes he wants to make, not the ones we'd like to make. I agree that recent posts have started to sound very Lucasian in their approach - 'let's stick more of these in and ram home the fact that they're doomed' or dropships, debris etc.

Let's stick to the basics - ESB needs very little work save a great colour correction and minor additions and it'll be worthy of Empire magazine's 3rd place accolade in the Filmmaker's All-Time Top 500.

PS I'm with Hotrod though....that snowflake on Chewie's foot needs to go - it's even in the space slug sequence! :p

My apologies in advance, as this has nothing to due with this discussion, but I was browsing through some posters, and came across this one. Thought it would provide a laugh. Just one question - Why is the Millennium Falcon in this poster ?!? And why did Han get it modified?

Forget the double headed Falcon...have you seen those coat hangers?! :p

Just goes to show how much into the popular culture Star Wars managed to embed itself.

ESB was recently voted 3rd out of 500 movies in Empire's movie poll - by the people who work in the movies...

Trivial Pursuit: STAR WARS ORIGINAL TRILOGY (Part III)

Hm. Not an excessively exciting last round. I thought people would all use their items at once, seeing as how they're not valuable as points, other than functioning as tie breakers between totals. The one landmine that was placed under the question about the Ewok's borrowed lightsaber did not go off. The scores have been totaled, and the supreme trivial champion of PART II of the STAR WARS ORIGINAL TRILOGY TRIVIAL PURSUIT CHALLENGE is:

astromech

You kicked ass, and felt the trivial force, and you've won the distinct honor of being the second champion of STAR WARS TRIVIAL PURSUIT. You may carry with every post you make on originaltrilogy, and truly in all forums you visit, the amazing banner I will quickly and half assedly photoshop for you.

SCOREBOARD [PART II] (UPDATED AT BEGINNING OF EACH ROUND):

astromech 43 POINTS/1 Assist Trophy/1 Rancor with Rancor Pit

HotRod 39 POINTS

bigbaddaddyvader 35 POINTS/2 Proton Torpedoes

see you auntie 23 POINTS/1 Proton Torpedoes

Mielr 18 POINTS/1 Sarlaac with Sarlaac Pit

Johnny Ringo 15 POINTS

Moth3r 4 POINTS/1 Proton Torpedo

Gaffer Tape 4 POINTS

DarkFather 2 POINTS

bkev 1 POINT

After two rounds, it feels as though maybe the allure of answering Star Wars questions is dwindling somewhat. We need something new to do with this trivial knowledge we carry. Anyone with suggestions of games they'd like to see involving trivia can pm me over the next day or two, while I figure out a new game. Good job everybody.

Thank you all for a good second round...and thanks to Shotrod for running me close! :p

The Darth Vader costume changes
Time

There's quite a bit of physical difference between Dave Prowse and Hayden so it'd have been very difficult to recreate the original presence without getting the man himself back. The helmet was redone symmetrically - apparently the original was not a symmetrical helmet (not that I could tell) but the cowling at the back of the head just looks short...perhaps it's cos it's all shiny and made from different materials

Star Wars: One Death Star to Rule Them All (6 become 1) (* unfinished project *)

Perhaps intercut some of the ANH DS battle with the ROTJ DS battle...after all, it is supposed to be the mother of all battles - especially if you're fighting to destroy 'the ultimate power in the universe.' The DS conference does mention that 'until this station is fully operational, we are vunerable' so that might be enough of a rider to assume or imply that the DSII is, in fact, the same one as in ANH...?
