IP Flushing/Renewing Error ("Could not flush the DNS resolver cache")
Time
I put together a little .cmd dealy to flush, release and renew my IP address. It seems to do everything correctly, and I know that my ISP will give me a new IP address, but during the flushing portion, I get the following error message:

"Could not flush the DNS resolver cache: function failed during execution"

Has anyone had this issue? If so, how can I correct it for easier IP resets?

New Direction For The Petition
Time
I don't know if I'm the only person who feels this way, but I think we need a new direction for the petition on the front page. The GOUT has been released and has already been pulled from the shelves again. We have now had the OT on DVD, so we need to clarify our request. I think it is time to start petitioning for an OT release in higher-quality on BluRay or HD-DVD. While we are at it, why don't we also petition for the release of deleted scenes/making of material from the original trilogy? What does everyone else think?

OCP did get better quality captures of the cut scenes just after he released Deleted Magic. I wouldn't be able to campare the DVD-ROM files of DM and ROTE until I got home tonight.

For the record, I asked him several months back which captures were better and he responded that the ones on ROTE were supposed to be much better quality (plus, there are no hard-encoded subtitles on them). He claimed at the time that they were the best available transfers of the video clips. Better/best is always a matter of opinion, though, and these were just his claims.

In any event, this new way of capturing the video looks hands down tons better than whatever method (screen recording?) was used before. Good luck to everyone using this.

Well, it would have helped if I had actually opened the prompt from the correct directory! Figured that one out eventually. What can I say? CL's intimidate me . I am getting better, though. I do some things in OS X's Terminal (srm and such...)

Anyway. Got all the video files extracted and they're awesome. It's been a while since I've watched DM. I actually sort of like the pixelization! Thanks so much for everything you do to help us out Laserman! I'm really interested to see how someone could put some polish on these...

Yeah, I definitely much prefer the pixelated look/the semi-painted look from the filters vs. the blurred clarity look.
