***The "Darth Editous" Episode IV DVD Info and Feedback Thread*** - a partially "de-specialed" DVD
Time
I received mine and watched it. Great video quality and editing job. Thanks to HAL 9000 for sending me one and thanks Darth Editous for making it.

For those still wanting a copy, the first 3 people to PM me there address (USA Only, sorry) will definetly get a copy (NTSC). I may send out a few more. I will let those know via this thread who is getting one. I can't send them out till Tuesday (my day off).

If someone could get Rikter or Metallaxis a copy maybe they could post on MYSPLEEN.NET as a torrent for download.

Of if I had a copy I would be more than glad to make copies for whoever wanted it.

Well, I will for sure get a copy of this! I haven't made my order yet, cause I was caught off-guard with this, but after Darth Editous sends his first round I will order it too.
Things at myspleen are a little tight right now (look at the comments I received for uploading Moth3r's project!), and I think posting the particular edit would push it too far.
Maybe a trackerless torrent could resolve this, but the trackerless feature is very new and I haven't tested it yet.

I don't know why some people are saying anything about the Moth3r Transfer on MYSPLEEN.Net, there are several Laserdisc transfers on there and have been there for a while.

Like I said in the comments, I would be more concerned with things on there that are still airing on TV than I would with something OUT OF PRINT.

Can't seem to find it anywhere...

IIRC it had the 3 front covers from the Faces LD set spliced together into a front cover for a 3 disc cover set.

They are here http://home.pages.at/grisan/ in Original Trilogy then Blaksvn covers.

I would really hate to see MYSPLEEN go, but if it does, I would be willing to help in distibution of any stuff I have or could get from any of the fine friends I have made here, I could help burn and ship.

Rikter is usually the man when it comes to getting anything Star Wars, but I would offer my services to him or anyone here to help fellow fans in getting the great Star Wars films and fan creations.

Info: WookieGroomer set - any disc art & covers? (Released)

Thanks for any information.

The WookieGroomer Set is available from MYSPLEEN.NET as a torrent file, and it fills the screen of the TV with the 2004 and 1977 version. It is splitscreen, 2004 on top and 1977 on bottom.

Info Wanted: Did i get the right original preservation DVD's? (from ebay)
Time
I usually try once a week to go onto ebay and search "Star Wars original trilogy dvd" and e-mail all bidders that they can get these for free on Myspleen if able to download & burn, and in some cases I have burned FREE copies if they send me the blank DVDrs in pre-paid postage envelopes. Sometimes it works.

Thats CRAP that someone on this forum is selling your guys hard work.

I've been extra busy this week with the Datsuns so for I've swapped a motor and tranny, stripped a car, chopped a car for body parts, done a tranny tune up, finished my CD's newest cover and found time to encode 2 DVD's

and the multiple sound tracks sounds cool but i dont know how to switch between them(if someone could tell me how that would be great),because i just downloaded the WookieGroomer splitscreens ANH,ESB,and ROTJ but do not know how to switch tracks.because of the above mentioned tv i would definitely like widescreen and i have this receiver Yamaha RX-V2500 and this dvd player Denon DVD-1710/DVD-555,so with this mentioned what set or sets would take advantage of my set-up?
thanks again for all the responses hopefully this is a better question so no one argues over whats good and whats not,i am sure they are all good.

ps where can i find the edit droid set? i just did a search for it at myspleen and it came up with nothing.

They are on Myspleen, just search Star Wars and download "STAR WARS - The "Mysterious Mysteries" C..." (4) then "STAR WARS: The Empire Strikes Back - from the &quo..." (5) these are the only ones on here now, Rikter will be putting 6 up soon.

This is true, I live in USA and have several different region DVDs and in my GE DVD player loopholes menu I can turn off the region and it plays them all on my US TV. When I burn DVDs(for personal use!!!) I burn them region free. So this region thing is USELESS!!! I even have PAL Laserdisc player and some PAL Lasers which I play through my DVD recorder and they play fine also.

did the creators of the editdroid trilogy ever hear of allow for things like, the proper bleed, with those covers.

The text on that must have less than 1 pixel from the edge of the cover art.

a pain to cut.

The copies I have look terrific with plenty of space around the text. Are you sure you're, like, printing properly?

My copies also have plenty of space on edges and fill the DVD case. easy to cut.
