Wake me up when something new happens.

Sadly, i think it’s going to be an annual thing from now on.

Alderaan, before completing your over-length review ( well one long criticism really), maybe you should watch the movie again because so many of your criticisms are based on you either misinterpreting something, missing something or just getting facts wrong.

Take this complaint for example:

Alderaan said:

And what about the bizarre scene when Krennic arrives on Scarif? The commanding officer arrives with orders to dig up every one of Galen Erso’s communications, but how does he order his officers to do that exactly? In case you missed it, I will tell you, because I noticed it during the film: Krennic doesn’t look any of the imperials in the eye. He doesn’t even break stride on his way over to his penthouse view of Space Bahamas. He literally walks into the room, fails to acknowledge anyone, gives orders to nobody in particular, and hastily makes for the big window so he can look out at the pretty blue sky.

Really?

When Krennic enters, an officer addresses him.

Officer - "Director Krennic, what brings you to Scarif?“
Krennic - " Galen Urso. I want every dispatch, every transmission he has ever sent called up for inspection”

It’s very clear that he is addressing this officer. He doesn’t need to look at this guy for us to know who he is giving his orders to.

Then you call the Vader scene pointless filler? Well it isn’t. Krennic gets Vader involved. He has just had the Death Star taken away from him by Tarkin. He needs Vader. He needs him to use his influence with the Emperor to get his station back. He is a desperate man and will do anything to regain the Death Star. And when Vader refuses, his downfall is set in motion. If this scene didn’t happen then it would look like Krennic had just given up the second tarkin took over, which would have been bad writing 😉

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW
Time

Merry Christmas everyone.

As for the Death Star plans, they are likely being changed back to the original for ANH:R HD ( Rogue One fixed the continuity error with the dish being on the equator in the one line about them being the “original plans”, so the dish placement was revised in the later schematics) and any mention of the death star removed from Ep 2

I doubt this will be the case given the poor offering on the Force Awakens Blu-Ray. I did not bother to buy it I contemplated getting the later repackaged version with the supposed Chewie ripping off the arms if Unkar Plutt or whatever his name is but it was cut short just like they did for escaping Maz Katana’s castle.

The full scene is on the blu-ray. It was the promo material, prior to the 3d blu-ray’s release that had the scene cut before chewie rips his arm off.

What Makes A "Real" Star Wars Fan?
Time

There is no “true” or “real” fan. That’s just something that was started by the prequel/ Special Edition fans to attack those that don’t like and are vocal about those films. You are either a fan or you aren’t. It’s a simple as that. It doesn’t matter how much or how little of the saga (and all it’s offshoots) you love. Putting labels like that onto people is nothing more than elitist bulls**t. Don’t worry about it. Just enjoy what you want.

Hi.

i noticed something.
And i have a bad feeling about this.

In the “Rogue One - Death Star Trailer” you can see two laserbeams of the death star.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDO9nGwoyYw

Thats a fan made trailer. The footage of it firing is actually from The Force Awakens, just flipped, cropped & recoloured.

In answer to the topic, this is mostly my purist side talking but older Anakin plus it looks less awkward when put next to the ghosts of Yoda and Obi-Wan.

I watched the prequels first, so I would think there was some random guy as a ghost. See my point? P.S, victory celebration is so much better than yup nub. (Stupid spelling corrections!)

Even when you see the guy unmasked moments before you would think he was some random guy? No one had any problems knowing who he was for 21 years before lucas decided to screw with things. Has the human race become so dumb that they couldn’t still figure that one out?

Ahem. It’s My opinion, not yours. And I know he was burned in 3 so I know its anakin when he was unmasked.

So then you wouldn’t have had any problems knowing who it was when he appeared as that same older person a few minutes later at the end then

The Wampa is progressing nicely.

The mouth has now been sculpted and is fresh out of the molds. The teeth were sculpted separately and cast in resin, while the gum and inner mouth was cast in silicone and the teeth just slot right into the gums & then glued in place.

Now onto the painting stage before fixing the inner mouth to the Wampa.

Leia was raised as royalty, so of course she knows how to sound “proper”, but she’s not just some posh princess, so she also knows how to drop that act and be a normal person.

What about when she talks to han about the money near the end of the movie? Was that so she could come off as kinda snobbish or something

Yep. Notice it’s her line “If money is all that you love, then that’s what you’ll receive!” that gets the posh tone, but just before that, her line “It’s not over yet…” is very casual. It fits her character.

i knew their was more to you than money that’s what i meant that line

That line isn’t spoken in even a remotely “posh british” or even “posh american” accent

At the risk of delaying the project, a possible solution to the Emperor’s “Luke Skywalker” line may have surfaced.

Well i’m not too bothered about the Emperor calling him Young Skywalker in ESB:R, because this is the way he addresses him in ROTJ, so it fits in with the character. But, if this software ends up working the way they say it will, this could be a godsend for the prequel edits.
