Thatâs sad, infuriating and troubling to hear, ady. Have people really lost the ability to isolate things they may like - or not - without the need to inform the world of their points of view in such a hateful and threatening manner? It seems increasingly so. As you say, itâs seemingly becoming the norm - worryingly so.
Hope your Mrs is okay after that, and also those 3 twats think again as to just why they were laughed at.
Dre is spot on - respect; it seems to be missing for some of these pricks.

I saw Chrisâ response to a post re the âfar left political propaganda filmâ on your facebook page - I think he nailed it.
Â
Yeh, it does seem to be the norm now, sadly. Itâs almost as if there is something missing in their lives , or just plain ego, that if they hate something, the world must too.
I kept that one comment on the page because it wasnât one of the bad ones, plus it showed what a bunch of numpties this lot are.

Donât those idiots know some female pilots were actually filmed for ROTJ?
Talking shit online is one thing, harassing someone for wearing a TLJ shirt in person? These morons donât even deserve to be called Star Wars fans.
Canât people who make threatening remarks on facebook be reported?
Try telling them about the female pilots and the response is almost always " they were deleted for a reason so your argument is invalid"
I reported every post and message that was threatening. Facebook doesnât care. They claim it doesnât go against their policies. Yet they are quick enough to act if you post something copyrighted or give you a temp ban for the most ridiculous reasons ( someone i know called his neighbours white trash and they kicked him off facebook for 30 days). They allow racist crap, threats etc all the time. Makes you wonder the types that are policing that site. This is the same reply i got off them to every one i reported:

So threatening someone with some real sick shit and saying i would get a bullet doesnât go against their code of conduct. Right, got it facebook.
I don;t even bother to engage with them any more. Just delete and block/ ban. They want the retaliation and hate it when you ignore them. They demand to be heard đ

I wonder if itâs going to come down to the man himself, George Lucas, to tell these fans to knock it off or get lost. Gene Roddenberry once had to tell some misguided Trekkers back in the 1970âs to lay off protesting Star Wars or so the story goes.
Sadly, George is kind of responsible for the start of the Anti-Disney brigade. The moment he did the interview and called Disney âwhite slaversâ and started acting like a child because Disney threw out his ideas, the ball started rolling. Those that see themselves as loyal to george, are now some of the most aggressive âwe hate TLJ , Disney & Kennedyâ commenters. They see Disney Star Wars as going against George. Even when George said he liked TLJ, itâs too late. They now claim anyone in the film industry, and others, who say TLJ is good, are being paid by Disney. They even go after Mark Hamill when he said he was wrong to be worried about Luke and realised as soon as he was filming. But they use edited interviews to say he is lying and conveniently ignore the ones he made a year before TLJ was out where he said it was down to him not like being taken out of his comfort zone. And then you have the off the cuff remarks, where people don;t seem to get Marks humour most of the time.
