Yeah, good point. I'll definitely try to keep the logos colored in. Otherwise, it might look like I just made it black and white, which might stand out too much.

Yeah, I can totally understand making Anakin seem hip and roguish by painting his fighter an obnoxious color, but I'd rather hint at an Imperial future a little.

Haha, yeah, I actually just tried blue, and it looked kind of... silly, I think.
The light grey panels look much better than blue ones.

You, sir, are a genius. I think this looks much better. (That's as light as I can make it without doing ridiculous masking)

Here's what it looks like red.
I see the point of doing this, and it's definitely feeling a little better, but I'm really attached to the grey. Though I'll probably pump a little more color into it, like a slight cyan.

I'm going to try my best to make this idea work. I think it helps bridge the design gap between the two trilogies at least a LITTLE bit. And every bit helps.
Anakin's will be grey - hinting at the TIE fighters to come.
Obi-Wan's will still be red - hinting at the Alliance colors to come.

It's 100% alright to edit as long as the people viewing the edits own the original material. Youtube is just being cautious because they don't want Lucasfilm coming down hard on them for hosting the material in such a way that people who DON'T own the originals can see it.

Youtube doesn't have any authority to say who's violating copyright. They're just being cautious - for their own sake. Don't worry about them taking it down.

Yeah, it might be better to cut straight to Obi-Wan radioing Oddball. 
The "this is going to be easy" line kind of ruins the mood.

Haha, that's an idea. I was considering re-working all of the sound there anyways, but I just love the sounds the way they are in the original.

 I actually originally had it timed that way, but the audio and music at that point are really loud, and a lot of the effect was lost in the end. It just sounded like more noise at that point.

Yeah, it's a huge shame. I would do almost anything to have more cockpit shots of clone troopers. 
Maybe I can find a TIE fighter helmet, repaint it with republic colors, and film some more cockpit shots on a greenscreen. That way I can avoid having to use Morrison's face.

Alright, after a bit of a break, I'm finally back to editing. Here's what I'm currently up to these days

I like SOME of what you've done with Jar Jar. Some of it sounds really great, but at other times, it really does sound like parts are cut out. 

Now, you said "Lots of voice work". What does that involve? What other voice work are you planning on doing?  

If it is a prank, it seems like Ady's not gonna tell us. It's a little convenient that he's already recovered all but 20 files, haha.

Haha, thanks. I'm considering including stupid scenes like this into my DVD release - just for fun. I have all these cut scenes, and I don't want them to go to waste, haha.
