It didn't do anything! So I used Xilisoft DVD Ripper Platinum instead, which seems to work quite well.

EDIT:
Xilisoft did the job. ANH is complete, ripping ESB now...

My personal favorite would be the Editdroid Set, because it has good picture and audio than most transfers, the original crawl, isolated score, and goes good with Rowman’s Bonus Discs.

Yes I am back. But here’s the catch: I’m avoiding the off-topic forum. Just here to talk about Star Wars and its preservation.

Now on topic:
I would like to try and upload Wookie Groomer’s Split-Screen Comparisons on Google Video. I don’t care if they get deleted or not, I’d just like to try it out. But here’s the problem: The DVD ripper I use (Ahead DVD Ripper) cuts off in the middle of the movie and then goes badly out-of-sync, and there’s no way I can fix it.

What’s the best DVD ripper I can use to rip the videos without a problem?

I'm leaving this forum, for three reasons:

1. As I stopped Paint Wars, I have no further purpose here. I now pass that project on to SweHanson, and hopes that he can finish it without as much trouble as I had.

2. I'm not like you people. I love games, you don't like them very much. I don't like movies, and you people obsess over them.

3 (and this is the big one). I suffer from Autism, and am easily offended by many things, and most of you here have a knack for being offensive, and enjoy offensive material. Once I spoke out against something that deeply offended me, and what did you do? You defended the offensive material and flamed me for it. Also, some people on this forum tried to run me out of town with "offensive" material, because it forced my cousin to leave in tears. I wasn't offended by the material, but the fact that you tried to run me out was enough to upset me.

I may still speak with Sluggo and some people in the Preservation community about Star Wars bootlegs in private. But other than that, this is the end. Good-bye. I hope you all learned a valuable lesson from this. I will be joining my cousin at Outer Rim Sieges, because 1. They respect their members, and 2. they have a video game thread so I'm welcome there.

All right, I've decided it's time to pull the plug on this project for good.

The reason is because I go back to college in two weeks, and I need all the time I have to get ready for it. So therefore I have no more time to work on Paint Wars, which was basically a boredom project.

SweHanson, you have my permission to take what I've finished and make it into a torrent. If anyone is willing to continiue this, then be my guest, because this is the end of the road for me. I apologize for any inconvience.

The sources are from Google Video.

And like I said, I cancelled the Fullscreen Recobbled Cut. The only reason I'm making the others Fullscreen is because most of my relatives hate Widescreen (which is sad, I try to make them understand.)

I am making archival copies of the Princess Cut and the Miramax Cut. They have no menus, but are in Anamorphic Widescreen and have 18 chapters. They would make a nice companion to the Recobbled Cut. If you would like a Combo Pack, PM me and I'll send it to you for free. But if you just want the Archival DVDs, that's fine by me.

I just talked with my mom about this ordeal. As I don't have a job right now and she has to finance the sending, she won't let me do it. Maybe when I do get a job, I can start this business again. Well I COULD buy Arabian Knight, but I cannot buy the Princess Cut that easily, and I really don't want to have to pay for something that's vastly inferior to something that's offered for free.

Actually, I'm making my own Archival Set right now, and I'll Pan-n-Scan them myself if I have to...
