The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe: 1979 Animated VS. 2005 Live-Action

However, the animation has that 70s 80s animation feel to it so most people to day who watch it for the first time dismiss it merely for its poor (for todays standards) animation. That's ridiculous. I recently watched Disney's Snow White, made in 1937, and was blown away by the animation. Animation made in the past, be it the 30s, 70s or 90s may look dated now, but that does not make it 'poor' in any way.

Oh, I almost forgot. The biggest inaccuracy of the 1979 animated film to the book, was that the animation left out the scene with Father Christmas and instead had Alslan give them their gifts when he first met them. That is one part of the book I have never been able to get over. Even when I read them when I was very young I thought it was weird and kind of lame having Santa Claus show up and give the kids weapons.
Yeah, very lame. I hate that bit too. I much prefer the idea of Aslan giving them their weapons.

The realization that his very life was a trivial matter caused Billy to break through to a higher level of conciousness (commonly referred to as enlightenment) in which he could see the whole of existence and reality for what it really is. Having reached this higher state, Billy immedietly left home and toured the world teaching what he had learnt. Billy's world tour was dubbed 'Buddha: The Return'

Help me come up with the next Pixar movie
Time
Guys, I need some help, and maybe you can have some fun while helping.

I'm trying to produce some kickass drawings/paintings for my portfolio so I can get a job as a concept artist at an animation company, but it's proving very difficult to force the work out of me. Without blowing my own trumpet, I'm a pretty good artist, but right now I'm lacking the neccessary inspiration and motivation.

I realised today that one of my main problems is that I just don't know what I should draw. When I was at university I had briefs, which made things a lot easier, and when I produced my degree film I wrote the story first, and then produced concept art based on that story. When I was a kid I had all these crazy ideas in my head that I would bring to life on paper - back then things were simpler: You drew for fun, not to get a job. There was no voice in the back of your mind pressuring you to create fantastic work.

That's where you guys come in. I need you to imagine you are head of Pixar, and you want me to produce some concept art for the next Pixar movie. What is the movie about? Who are the characters, and roughly what happens? I'm not looking for long detailed scripts here, just very brief (one paragraph) story outlines to get my imagination going, to inspire me, to get me excited and want to draw.

For example, an outline of Toy Story might be:

Toy Story is about the 'secret life of toys' when people are not around. A cowboy toy named Woody has it all. He is practically the leader in Andy's toy room, Bo Peep has the hots for him, and most importantly, he is Andy's favorite toy. But things change when Andy recieves a new toy for his birthday - Buzz Lightyear, a space cadet who thinks he is an actual space ranger, not a toy - and Andy loses his position as favourite toy. Woody's jealousy results in buzz being knocked out of the bedroom window, bringing the wrath of the other toys upon woody, who must venture out into the world to find Buzz...

Or, you could just say 'Toy Story is about the 'secret life of toys' when people are not around', or you could go into even more detail, describing scenes (like the Pizza Planet scene, or the 'claw' vending machine scene)

I'm sure some of you already have great ideas in your head for movies or animations, or maybe you want to just make something up on the spot. Anything goes. So far we've had toys, bugs, monsters, fish, superheroes and cars. What do you think Pixar will give us next?

Thanks

The green meanie rips itself from Ringo's head, killing him in the process. The sight of a green meanie ripping itself from Ringo's body causes Samuel to die from shock.

With Samuel dead and Silvestre unconscious and gay, the task of stopping the green meanie lies in the hands of Bobby the Mulato and Jenkins the Albino.
